I never said Mike Brown over Rick Adelman. He did a great job in Cleveland. Don't undersell him. Bullard as coach, "When I played in my day you never called that fop." Ken Mauer: STFU, you were never in the NBA. *Signals Tech*
If we get rid of Adelman, Rockets should go for a top assistant coach that never got a crack. The unemployed headcoaches looking for job aren't so hot. How about Ty Corbin from the *gulp* Utah Jazz? It might be sacrilege to have a Jazz assistant coach as head coach for the Rockets. All the flopping is pretty annoying from the Jazz, but I'll take Sloan's top assistant over Mike Brown or Jim O'Brien.
is this a serious thread? i can't quite figure out if yall are being facetious or what. anyone thinking RA is the problem here needs to have their head examined. and mike brown? wtf???
I agree. I could have maybe ignored one person saying Mike Brown. But multiple people? He may be the most overrated coach ever to win a coach of the year award. I was pissed when he won it over Adelman, and my tune isn't going to change just because "the grass is always greener on the other side".
you give Rick Adelman LeBron James on this squad and we'd be in first place. that would be cool, we have the King and the Ruler !
yeah ive been surprised by that too. yes the thread is serious, in the sense that i created it because i wanted to show the adelman-blamers that he is not the problem. and that if he were replaced it would only be a downgrade. i hope at least a few people came to that conclusion.
I think a lot of kids just think Mike Brown must be cool since he coached Lebron. That's the only explanation I can come up with.
oh, i definitely wasn't aiming this at you... i just found it crazy that so many people think replacing RA would be a good idea and find it flat out asinine that anyone would replace him with mike "can't even draw up my own damn plays during timeouts" brown.
