Too bad you already purchased everything...you could have saved some money by asking us for suggestions.

Other than that, very nice system if you plan on keeping it for a long time. I like changing my computer every 2-3 years, so I don't purchase top of the line parts anymore.

Maybe yall could have come over and install the parts for me too, and I wouldn't have a backache right now. Seriously, I thought I'd be up and running by now. :( Oh well I'll have to wait one more day!

Actually, I would've, lol. I love building computers...and I do a clean job too. I'll spend hours trying to hide all the wires to make it look professional.

My wires aren't totally hidden, however I made liberal use of the zip ties to keep everything as neat as possible. I think I did a better than average job. :)

I do have one question: am I correct in assuming that I have to buy a special usb 3.0 bracket to connect that to the usb 3.0 header on my motherboard and then I can connect my usb 3.0 wires that are apart of my i/o panel. I see no connectors on the motherboard that will accept a real usb plug.

    - Your motherboard comes with several SATA cables. You had to order more?

    - Your last question is a bit confusing. The rear I/O panel on the motherboard has six USB 3.0 ports (blue ones). You can connect any external USB using those ports.

    - Assuming you're asking about the USB connections from your case, they connect to the internal I/O ports along the bottom edge of the motherboard.

Yes. The board has 4 sata cables included. 1 is a regular sata cable that I hooked up to my dvd drive. There are 2 sata to esata and 1 sata bracket that you can hook up to one of your expansion slots in the back.

As far as my previous question, I figured that out too. I have the cooler master haf X, which is one of only a few cases which included a usb 3.0 connection on the i/o panel in the front of the case. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that this kind of thing is as of yet are not supported by motherboard manufactures. A little research turned up the fact that gigabyte had included a usb 3.0 header on their motherboard which is designed to accept a new usb on-board bracket once the technology gets hashed out. Cooler Master offered a work around to this, which is to route those cables out of your case through the water cooling grommets and hook them into your usb 3.0 panel slots that are in the back of the motherboard.

I hope that was a better explanation of the issue.
