Why is everyone complaining so much all of a sudden? This is just like December when we just barely beat all those bad teams. The mood around here was pretty good back then.

Same thing happened tonight, we just barely beat the Timberwolves, a team that got a D on their midseason grade while we got a D+. Sounds about right that we just barely held them off by 4 points.

    *Shrugs*

I don't know if it was dirty or not, I just understand how getting hit in the nose would piss off AB.....

I got into it with one of my good friends once on the court because I felt he undercut me.....later we laughed about it over beers.

    **** happens.

I definitely agree. I have a whole new appreciate for Martin, and what he brings to the table. He is an elite scorer. He would be unbelievable on a team like the Bulls. He would be an ideal 2nd Option (Rose being 1), with an elite defender and rebounder behind him (Noah).

He is absolutely the player the Rockets should build around. Not as the first option, but as a player that gives the Rockets a chance to be great in the next year or two.

Morey just needs to do his best to get his Noah first and be prepared to get his Star whenever he gets a chance, draft or trade.

I also agree Hayes has really impressed me with his growth. He definitely has great value on a top tier team.

if we can't get Melo , why would we want to trade Kmart our top scorer? If i had to let go of someone , I'd trade AB , you can tell he is starting to get frusted losing his starting position & all and he is definately not consistent as kmart. the person i want to trade the most if anybody wants him is C lee soo Twill can finally get pt behind kmart.

I attended the game, and it was fun, if nothing else. Wolves fans REALLY like Darko for whatever reason. I think it's the name.

That said, Martin was awesome, Hayes was cool, and Brooks and Hill caused people to stare at the angry screaming guy wearing the Rockets fan whenever they tried anything on offense. That stupid stunt by Aaron at the end didn't help either.

And no mention of the night Battier had? I really do appreciate the guy.

I'll also mention that while Brooks and T-Will were the first ones out in the early game shootaround, T-Will clearly was spacing out towards the end, not even bothering to head to the huddle during timeouts, which was something that Ish who also gets no playing time did.

You just said it **** happens, and as a professional he needs to learn to let it go. I could understand if the guy challenge him intentionally, just a rookie mistake on ABs part.

When was the last time we needed free throws from Scola, Hayes, AB, Bud and Lee to make up for Martin's poor free throw percentage?

Only if Brooks can reproduce this kind of smartness in a real game. :(

Game? What game? He can only knock down threes? Name one other skill he has which helps our team? Name what skills he doesnt have that hurts our team? Put it on a scale then we can talk about GAME.

He's got athleticism, which is a major bonus. He's got one skill he's really good at, so that will make him a very long career in the nba. 3 point shooting makes players like anthony morrow, rudy fernandez...etc etc...

    budinger is decent

I got no joy from this win. None. Hell, if you had asked me last night after the game, I would have told you to sell off every one of those no defense playing buttheads.

But now its the morning after and I'm a bit more mellow.

    OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!!!

This. The kid has talent and can jump through the roof. I thought he would take the next step this season but sadly he has regressed defensively and that is what will keep him from being a real good NBA player in the long run.
