Untouchables: Battier Hayes Lowry Martin Williams Pats Scola Ish Lee Great Package: Yao Jeffries Brooks Hill Bud Miller?
Anyone, especially the older players on larger contracts, especially if we can get draft picks in return.
Hayes, Patterson, Williams and maybe Lee. I would trade any of them for the right deal, but those first 3 are the closest to untouchable in my book. Lee is kind of on the edge. I don't want to see him go, mostly because I like that he is a good 2 way player, but like the others, if the right deal came along, I could/would part with him. Pugs
Thread title vs Poll fail. I voted the two players I thought were untouchable, and then read in the post to vote the ones that I would want to trade.
I agree with you except Courtney Lee is really going into a slump like the one Chase went through and kinda still is.
Two guys that can't get on the court, except in garbage time? It's fine; they're young; maybe they'll amount to something. And, we probably wouldn't be killing many deals by refusing to part with them anyway.
I'd trade all our players with pathetic defense... AB/Martin/Scola/Miller/Bud And trade players that play defense but is somewhat an offensive liability Jeffries/Hayes/Hill/Ish (Play defense but cant even consistently hit wide open shots) Players with two way potential I would rather keep unless for a super star. Lowry/TWill (Our playmakers that play defense) Battier/Lee/Patterson (Play good defense and can consistently hit open shots when an assist comes their way)
Cannot agree more with the Chuck Hayes comment - I don't believe any team would trade to us what Chuck's real value to the Rockets is....he's (in my opinion) one of the best value's in basketball today now that he has greatly improved his offense while continuing to be one of the best defensive players in the league. Plus he is one of the most durable players we have had in this past injury plagued decade
No one, I mean no one should be off limits on this team. They dont have good enough players to warrant untradeable. Now, there should be an order of some kind,but everyone should be on the table. There isnt one player on the rockets I would regret trading away for another player.
