I'd rather have about 3 or 4 players over Shaq with our scoring system.

FT% isn't a stat we have to worry about. Total rebounds get you 2 points. Yep, this league is tailor made for Shaq IMHO.

What about his tendency to play only 60-65 games a year? And a few that'll go unmentioned that are MORE taylor made for this league?...

 

Who is this "taylor" fellow you keep talking about?

 

Good job! Now just get Malone on the way up and you'll be all set.

 

Last year with our rules, Shaq finished 9th in Fantasy points per game. Now, admittedly, he was injured, but he is definitely not a clear-cut #1... he's definitely a top 5 or 6 pick, though.

BTW - moe, can you pick for me on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:30 P.M. to 9 P.M. central time as I am in class. Just go with the best player available on the board, but use your judgement if you think the player that Yahoo says is best available really isn't.

I'm used to saying Taylor as in Fred.

 

Its' been 20 hours and only 3 picks have been made. At this rate, we're not going to finish the draft before the season starts. If we complete one round per day, we'll finish the draft with a couple of days to spare. Any suggestions on how we can speed up the draft process?

I have to agree. And these are the EASY picks - I mean how long do you have think about picking Shaq, Duncan, or Garnett?

Something has to change. This draft is going to go on forever.

 

Is there anyone in this league living outside of North America? Can we all agree to stay on line together for an hour or two and get the first couple of rounds out of the way? These should be fairly easy picks.

 

we gotta change the 24 hour limit. we're never gonna finish in time.

I have some leeway at work of being on here, but I don't think I could stay on continuosly for 2 hours.

However, we need people to pick substitutes to pick for them if they know they are not going to be around.

I will definitely be out today and tomorrow from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., central time. However, I have asked moe to pick for me if it is my turn during those times.

But that is what I think we need to do...if you know that you are not going to be around for awhile during the hours of 8 a.m. to midnight, then you need to get a sub to pick for you or have moe let Yahoo pick the best available player.
