lol typical D'Antoni clueless about defense, Gallinari doesn't have the athleticism to keep up with Durant why wouldn't you put Fields the better defender on KD and use Gallinari's length to pressure the guy inbounding the ball. They put Fields on guarding Sefalosha instead LOL TURRRRRRIBE. Great great shot by KD though
I was confused when the Knicks played us and during times when we needed a basket Gallinari was guarding Brooks.
I got home just in time to see the last 3 minutes. Even as the Thunder closed the gap, I felt the game had the vibe of a Knicks win. But they couldn't stop the Thunder from scoring. Beautiful shot by KD. Knicks should have done better at denying him the ball. A lot of teams are successful doing this against OKC in the same situation. Serge Ibaka is going to explode sometime this season (or next). Mark my word: It's coming.
Shane Battier wasn't there to face-guard him, that's why. If AB can shoot over Gallinari, how much more KD? But KD's choice of a 3pointer when they only needed a 2 ... confidence
2nd i believe he got one in Seattle, but 1rst for OKC tho <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-3yaDgNh-aQ" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>
Confidence? Let me tell you about confidence: Last night against the Kings, the Warriors were down by 2 points and had the ball with 15 seconds left. Monte Ellis deliberately dribbles away the clock and hit the game-tying shot with less than one second left. Even the Warriors announcers were blown away. It was awesome. Two days earlier, he hit a game-winner against the Pacers from the exact same spot. Sick stuff. And you want to talk about confidence.
LOL, I think that speaks more to the Warriors coaching staff's lack of confidence in their half-court defense than his confidence in his shot-making.
was that a three or a two??? he foot was on the line but when he released the ball he was way out side the three point line
Gallinari forced him into a fadeaway three pointer at the buzzer, i thought he played him pretty well. He couldve jumped on the shot but he was probably worried about getting a foul called.
Gallinari did exactly what he was supposed to do, which was force KD into a low percentage shot. Not much you can do when a guy hits a fadeaway 3-pointer.
I like how he calmly just walked towards his teammates. Probably the most humble reaction I have seen after a game winner
