[TV] Human Target - Season II
I am glad it came back.
I like the characters and interesting to see some of the folx
    from other shows show up
[HELO from BSG will always be HELO from BSG
    or the guy from Dollhouse]

I love this show! Hopefully they build on last season and bring more of the same, plus maybe a little further character development. IMO, this is one series that doesn't really need a longer story arc, yet.

The writers better not mess it up. Adding the two women is fine as long as they don't distract from the action and the three main guys.

Helo getting beasted in the elevator is weak. He had a starring role on Dollhouse a year ago. He doesn't deserve to be killed on a whim. At least let him go out Blazing!

I love this show. I think bringing in Indira Varma (also in 'Luther' on BBC America with is very good) and the other young female thief to the team is exactly what the show needed.

Last year there was always a chick of the week, which was great, but I thought there should have been another Female on the team. I thought That FBI chick that had the hots for Chance was going to join.

I hope we learn more about Chance, Guerrero, and Baptiste's past as assassin's working for 'The Old Man'

Heh heh, that made me laugh. Good moment.

I also chuckled when he dumped the guy from his trunk after getting the phone call.

Seriously. Guerrero is the #1 reason why I watch this show. His character is as awesome as it gets.

What made the whole "five stages of fear" scene even more awesome was knowing that he intended to do exactly what he said he would do unless she caved.

Just catching this weeks Episode. The last Episode had a couple of things I did not like.

I did not like ole girl throwing the 'I'M THE OWNER' card out so soon
I did not like Theif girl interrupting Guerrero and disrupting him.
I was afraid they would attempt to 'soften' him . . and that will just piss me off.

I liked Human Target just with the 3 guys. Each one holds his own. Sure enough the two women give the show more flexibility for plots and character development, but they don't need to include all 5 characters in each and every episode. There is too much fluff. The women should be part-timers and the show should stay true to it's roots for at least one more season.

All shows must have some development eventually, but Human Target could have gone another season in simplicity (IMO). But I know they want to expand the viewing audience and adding women is the way to do it.

RR, I'm with you on Guerrero keeping his hard edge.

I think there is a little bit too much of Ilsa right now, but I'm OK with the new girl. I definitely agree that they have to be careful not to soften Guerrero. His character is perfect.

It is like they are afraid to just have a hard core bad*ss Good guy.

He is like old school wolverine . . .
'I'm the best at what I do . . .and what I do ain't pretty" Wolverine
    [Not Hugh Jackman!!!]

I did like the Three Man Dynamic
Chi being the too law abiding and Guerrero being too ruthless.

I agree. Too much Isla too soon.
It is getting old Chi having to remind her again and again that ***** happens
they step in it . .and not everything is going to go by the book
and the law and come out clean.
That is NOT who they are!

I agree entirely with you. Too much of the boss, too soon. New thief girl is ok.

Damn I initially liked that they brought in 2 chicks to the team. I would have enjoyed the

    FBI chick
    [IMG]

    and the Hacker girl
    [IMG]

as the added additions to the team.

After the second episode I've soured a bit on this new concept. They show Mrs. Pucci too much, I agree. I thought she was supposed to be a silent benefactor.

They show Guerrero WAY to much now. Last season he would come in handle things without out us really knowing how he handled things. Part of his charm was his moral ambiguity, and his unseen ruthlessness. Now that he is around more, even lounging having a drink with the main heroes, he seems a lot less awesome. I want unhinged Guerrero back.

I think one thing that I'm not happy about is the MONEY! Another great thing from last season is the way they would get payed. Favors, IOU's, random yet valuable things. Winston would have to come up with a way to get them supplies and transport to accomplish a job without many resources. It was hilarious how stressed he was trying to get them what they needed. Now they can get whatever, whenever they want. The fancy dinner table computer needs to go...

At least this week we get to see Baptiste again.

It is going ok. I think the 'Boss' needs not be there every week.
I can tolerate the the Thief.

I am still hanging in there.

This Episode was good. The Boss was gone for most of it.
Which is Definately a step in the right direction.
    Guerrero being Guerrero.

This is the formula they need to keep up.

I like Human Target, but Chance's insane theatrics are putting me off.

Sometimes, it's wayyy over the top.

However, I love Janet Montgomery and Indira Varma.

It's doing fine IMO. The show has been "over the top" from the very start.

But I'm really bummed out on Fox because Human Target, Fringe and Lie To Me are all on the "likely to be canceled" list. Oh well. :(
