Even before this game I felt sorry for Atlanta NBA fans. There is no way I could watch that team all season because they are so uninspiring. The Hawks have been warmed-over leftovers for the past 5-6 years. Maybe it's the "curse" of passing over D-Will and CP3 for Marvin Williams.

I checked the score yesterday and Atlanta had 40 points late in the third quarter.

Huh?? What are you talking about man? The Hawks were exactly what you called them and worse all the way up to 2007-2008 when the team finally procured a point guard and a solid big man in Horford to team with J-Smoove. Before then they were abject, even with the addition of Joe Johnson(and like you mentioned, I believe it was the curse of passing over D-Will and CP3). After Horford and Bibby got on board, the team became more watchable and their play got better leading to more W's and more fans to the "highlight factory". They've been a fun team to watch over the past three seasons but turrible to watch in the post season.
Right now, yes they look uninspired. They may still be getting wins and get in the playoffs but they have shown no reason to believe they won't be eliminated in the 1st round, but at least they'll end the season over .500 and fans can still come out and watch insane Josh Smith dunks and blocks. I think they'll take that over the horror show that was on offer for the earlier part of the decade-pre Joe Johnson, Bibby and Horford.
