I won't shoot you, I'll have a barbacoa fajita burrito with you instead. F**k Freebirds. Me and the fiancee are constantly Chipotle-eaters and we tried Freebirds once (Richmond @ 59 location, if they have others). We got food poisoning. So yeah, f**k 'em.
yeah, bullritos kind of sucks too...it was good the first time i had it, then a couple weeks ago they made a real stinker. i like mission burrito, but i've only had it once. chipotle is just so consistent.
INCORRECT title thread. *I want my $.20 back!* I haven't had enough of FreeBirds' or BullRitos to know which one is better. SwoLy post is SwoLy. EDIT: After seeing ZIGGY's POST below, I can say CHIPOTLE is very good. I don't like FACTORY-MADE flour tortillas, by the way.
I work at Greenway Plaza, so I have Freebirds, Chipotle and Bullrito's all semi close. We need to get a group together so we can go to one place each week and then make our conclusions. Anyone else work in this area? Pugs
Chipotle is the worst burrito on the face of the planet. Meant to edit my last post, whooooooooooooooooooooooops. I'm failing so bad today. Chipotle < Mission Burrito < Freebirds < Bullritos<<< California Burrito from Arandas + Verde.
It's really a toss-up between that and Mission Burrito. I'd give Mission Burrito the edge in bowls though.
I've never been impressed at all with Freebirds. The taste never compares to Chipotle. Mission Burrito I enjoy a lot, the fresh jalapenos are great. Bullritos has that cilantro ranch sauce that is decent, but they don't do much for me in the taste department. Their refried beans are disgusting. Plus Chipotle chips and guac produce a huge defecation on anybody else's. But this is my just my opinion (i.e. the only one that matters)
^^^I can't believe I'm hearing this. Yall must be getting your freebirds from Houston, for the real deal you have to be in Austin.
No, it's at Weslayan & Richmond. It's a big shopping center, but for some reason I can't remember anything else in there. Firehouse Subs may be in there. Pugs
The first Bullritos I'd ever been to is the one that opened half of a block from me on Eldridge/Briar forest. Honestly, I like them all but if I had to choose: Bullritos >= Freebirds > Chipotle Haven't been to Mission enough to judge. Bullritos portions are better, as well as the variety of topics, and their steak (at least at this location) blows away all the Freebirds I've ever been to (5 or 6 different locations).
Good call....We need to have our own Rockets viewing party at that BW3s sometime, I think about going there every time I see it on my way home from work but never made it. Pugs
