Can you imagine if a San Andreas Earthquake and this Massive storm were to happen at the same time...

That would be like hell on earth for the people of California..

They should make a movie about it! I bet John Cusack would ruin his career and star in it.

    Oh good lord, who cares?

There is nothing you can do, we are all in the boat that is Mother nature, we just have to ride out the waves.

 There's not anything they can do to stop a superstorm from happening, but if they know it's possible and can prepare for it, there might be steps they can take to minimize loss of life, insure themselves against property damage, and have contingency plans to keep business and government functioning in a crisis.

I can already see the trailer of John Cusack saying something like "We need to strengthen this earthquake. It is the only way..."

it sounds like the chances of something that catastrophic occurring in the state were thought to be microscopic, like .00001%, before the report. Now, the chances seems to be more like 0.5% that something like that happens at some point in some of our lifetimes.

I'm just throwing numbers out. But that it went from microscopic to slightly possible is a pretty big story and worth knowing about

Well, that would take care of their state going bankrupt! I wonder when the big quake will hit there. Talk about a mess cleaning up Los Angeles.

I was thinking more along the lines of Noah, but Jake Gyllenhaal works too.
