http://allball.blogs.nba.com/2011/0...lth-by-shoving-foot-in-mouth/?ls=iref:nbahpt1 Bosh complaining about opposition diving for the ball? Doesn't that happen all the time. Accidents occur and i really don't feel Asik did it on purpose. Surprising that in the poll, there are actually quite a lot of people that think its a dirty play. What you guys think?
Bosh is being a p***y that he usually is. He avoids physical play like a plague. Nothing dirty about that play. The other dude hustled and threw his body to the floor. Bosh did not and was just standing there.
This play is nothing like Manu Ginobili stepping in front of an air-borne Aaron Brooks at half court, then spraining Aaron's ankle.

He was saying that scrubs need to watch they are doing. Diving after a ball, knowing you could hurt someone is reckless. Players don't want to get injured and have a duty of care not to injury people. Typical day on clutchfans, lebron, bosh hate threads, totally overblown, and full lies.
The guy wasn't being reckless, he was simply trying to make a play. To be honest, he had already started the diving motion BEFORE Bosh stepped in his path. Therefore, that is Bosh's fault. He didn't see that big guy falling in that direction? Bosh could have hurt him. Question: If Bosh is so concerned about somebody possibly bumping into him, then why is he playing basketball? I think he needs to man up and stop crying.
Typical Day on clutchfans?? yeah because we have nothing to do in the world beside talking about Lebron james and his teammates. STFU BRO.
Bosh will get grief for how moronic his statements are and "clarify himself" in Lebron fashion tomorrow. I mean, really? Don't go after a loose ball if it's near his leg?? Bosh is just mad because others play with hustle and grit instead of like a prissy diva like him.
The onus of protection should be for the player on the ground, courage and hustle should be rewarded, not lambasted. You don't need armour to dive for a ball.
Bosh would not have liked this. Then again, Bosh would have have dared getting into a fight with Charles Oakley in the first place.
"C'mon, that is how guys get hurt, that is how serious injuries happen. You've got to watch people's legs. I know guys want to hustle and everything but we all want to play and provide for our families and have a job." - Chris Bosh http://thestar.blogs.com/raptors/ Strange comment to make, he has a point, but I don't think fans want to hear this when they pay good money to watch.
Man, It sucks that all the stars that really enjoy competing like that are getting old and will be out of the league soon.
so you really agree with what he said? diving for the ball is part of basketball. there is going to be body contact. I said in my opening post, i don't feel its a dirty play. how is this a hate thread? i reckon if you are going to complain about this kind of plays, go join a netball team...
It's not a good point at all. He was making a hustle play, and if he did not dive for the ball Chris Bosh would've had the ball. He had a choice, dive for the ball or let Chris Bosh get it. Every player in the league with hustle will go straight for the ball regardless of who and what is in the way. Chris Bosh's definition of hustle on the other hand, is bending over his back and slowly picking up the ball expecting no one else around him to try and take it from him.
