Think of this as Yao's parting gift to Wang Fei for his brilliant scheduling, substitutions, and backcourt coaching.

This one's for you, Wang. Don't let the door hit your *** on the way out.

Bad coaching. Bateer played only 5 minutes in the game. That was why Yao Ming was exhausted in the last two minutes of regulation and overtime period.

Besides, he did not get the ball from the guards either even the oppoent centers stated Ming was much stronger than before and they had hard time in keeping him away from the basket. Korea used two centers and zone defence to check Ming.

Obviously, anyone who can hit 75% of their shots, get 22 rebounds, and their team still loses is not playing against equal competition...

    Shocker At Asian Games

Oct. 14 - In what some are calling the greatest upset in Asian Games history, South Korea shocked Yao Ming and China, 102-100, on Monday in the gold medal game. Yao Ming, who led China with 23 points and 22 rebounds in the loss, the Rockets and the China Basketball Association now will begin work on finalizing the contract the parties verbally agreed to last week. Assuming all goes as planned, expect Yao Ming to be in Rockets camp and in uniform within the next week.

It was well worth stunting Yao Ming's NBA growth to under utilize him and eventually lose to South Korea. Like I have said before, isn't there another center they can have play on this team while Yao Ming plays where he should against real competition. Why does he have to commit to going back and playing on a losing international team that he is clearly too good for? Surely in a country of a billion people they can find a suitable replacement that is of equal talent to the rest of the team. If national pride is the issue, he will bring far more attention and glory in the NBA dunking on Shaq and blocking MJ...

According to this Chinese media, Yao has signed his contract, which is on its way to Houston here through priority post. Also, CBA has signalled a green light to Yao Min's NBA journey. That will be announced soon after the Asian game. (I wonder if that is today or tomorrow.)

    Cheers.

If you have a NBA player, put him on the court! I don't understand why Bateer is only played for 5 min for an overtime game! that is not reasonable!!!! Chinese coach sucks and need to be fired! there is no way you put a stud on bench and watch u team's best player got double teamed all the way! if Bateer is on the court, china will dominate all the boards and defensively, nobody can get in to Yao and Bateer's zone! chinese coach SUCKS:mad:

I appreciate all opinions (well, maybe that's a stretch), but saying "Get off this site you terroist nazi" to someone who has a posted a picture of your country's flag with a swastika emblazoned across it isn't really all that surprising. Perhaps neither sentiment is called for, but then really, the response should come as no surprise. Regardless of how many posts someone has.

i didn't see that, but i still do not like bush, and i am against war,but the comment "terroist nazi" isn't a comment you should make.

i kinda agree with you, i only made the comment about his numbers of posts because, if you're first posts are that extreem alot of people will remember you by that posts, and it can hunt you a long time.

i also agree that everybody can have a opinion, but i do not like it that somebody insults somebody else like that.
