We got a very favorable machup in portland. Had we played the jazz I don't think we make it past the 1st. Both yao and mcgrady belong in the failed era.

i dont know what you are trying to say here, but none of that changes the fact that he quit in toronto.

none of that changes the fact that he quit in toronto. his actions in that game had nothing to do w/ being hurt.

ill post where ever and whenever i want. you are not a moderator so you cant stop me! :p

    didnt even know about that.

mcgrady gets booed in toronto, orlando and houston. he has left every team he played for on bad terms. that is rare for a superstar or really any player - to be booed by your former fans. at some point all you TOFs need to ask yourself if its the raptor, magic and rockets organizations and their fans or is it maybe mcgrady?

Not only did he quit on yet another team -- he quit on our country.

"Tracy McGrady played high school basketball at Auburndale High School in Auburndale, Florida for three years. He then transferred to Mount Zion Christian Academy, in Durham, North Carolina."

McGrady also quit on his high school team, probably asking to be transferred.

What a quitting, quitter.. probably sleeps with a quilt instead of a blanket just because it has the word quit in it.

Isn't a message board for voicing your own opinion? People will disagree and then an argument occurs. How is this pathetic?

God you've got no respect, you're blatantly hating with no reason here. Did you see the rest of the quitters?

McGrady joins Ray Allen, Jason Kidd, Kevin Garnett, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Elton Brand and Kenyon Martin among players who have withdrawn from the team or have told the selection committee they would not accept invitations.

What a bunch of ****ing quitters, ****ing losers, that no good for nothing Kobe Bryant!!

We're not arguing you n00b, this is a thread for his fans NOT for his haters to come talk about garbage and hyperbole that has no relevance to what the topic is over.

If ANY of you don't want to be in here to say something positive, than please kindly GTFO, it's for his followers/fans that still continue to watch him play. There's NOTHING wrong doing so.

Maybe we could elaborate on the specifics of why he actually withdrew from team USA, giving us all a clearer, more objective picture of his motives?

    I'll help:

And I'm sure some people will take issue with this part:
    :p

God you're notorious, what has he ever done to you? Not sign you autograph at a game in the past LOL

Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen, KG, were among the players not on the team, and I'm glad he didn't accept that invitation, if I were a player I'd decline to after seeing the kind of trash they compiled after some of the all-stars dropping (Okafor, Marbury, AI, etc), that team was a failure, glad he's not associated with that.

If you read above the reason he withdrew was so he was getting married, similar to the reason KG withdrew. Oh but no KingCheetah doesn't believe in marriages, **** his personal life, who cares call the damn wedding off, screw his children, the Olympics is more important to the USA, screw his social life, he should have totally been in the game for King Cheetah LOL

how can I calm down, this thread was going great, people that wanted to continue watching him were doing so while posting positive threads, then out of nowhere he has another season high game and these blatant haters that have nothing else to do come in and continuously ruin the thread. Watch, if Kings beat Pistons tonight and McGrady has an off night, that brainless wonder Tinman and Co will be right back in here derailing a perfectly good thread that has NOTHING to do with the Rockets.

Neither failed by my definition. It was just a sad story of bodies that wouldn't keep up with their talent. Put them on the list with Grant Hill and co. (Although Mac is making a decent comeback it seems)
