Wasn't last year a contract year also? That certainly didn't do wonders then.

Stop continuously owning yourself. You are so dumb, you are really dumb for real.

That 2nd dunk by Tracy was pretty impressive, nice move and elevation, good to see he's getting back to himself.

Good to see him not sulk and mope because he isn't getting touches.

Scottie Pippen went on to have a solid career in Portland.

And yet there is no trainer, or coach, former t-mate, or assistant coach, or GM who has said this, in fact they all say the opposite. Makes ya wonder where the lazy and doesn't train part comes from.

im really starting to think its our medical staff. i mean look at yao, why were his surgeries done by the team doctors and not specialists? and we all know how is surgeries have turned out.

Yeah, but Yao's injuries year after year happen because he works too hard? Yao gets excuses like his body was too big but T-Mac gets nothing? Some people are just unlucky.

Just don't pretend he was ever anything special? WTF? Are you 5 years old that you missed the first half of last decade? Do you really think that he didn't work hard? Some people just have brittle bodies. He was as good as Kobe. It was Kobe vs T-Mac like it's Kobe vs Lebron now and you're saying T-Mac wasn't special? I just find that ridiculously dumb.

At 20, T-Mac had back problems and back spasms, but wait, that's because he's a Diva and not because he had real back problems. It's not like he played through injuries for the Rockets, OH WAIT HE DID. You can't be as good as he was without some work ethic. If T-Mac had been successful and won a ring then he would be a sure fire Hall of Famer instead of a borderline hall of famer. Nobody would question anything. But because his teammates have been crap, he goes through all of this.

He was hurt and it took him all that time to recover. He wasn't good for the knicks and pistons. I bet the bulls are kicking themselves. Kieth bogans?

Its starting to look like McGrady really did need microfracture. Pistons will probably be able to move him at the deadline for something decent

Wake me up the next time Kevin quits on the team he's supposed to lead.

    Toronto game.

Being a Tracy fan AND claiming to be a Rockets fan at this point is almost as bad as being a Scottie only fan.

Yeah, because no NBA player has ever quit. I mean, you're treating him like Lebron-Cavs.

Yao's body is physically too big. Big players always have been known too have a myriad of injuries, especially foot injuries. It is a simple biological fact. No one hates Yao for it, because no matter what, Yao works hard. If you read my posts at all, you should know that I do not despise T-Mac for his injuries, I am despising him for how he acts and how he deals with them. Here are the things T-Mac did:

    - Took himself in and out of the lineup at the last minute. I cannot remember which game it was, but T-Mac took himself out of the lineup, forcing Artest to come back on a scheduled game off to recover his badly sprained ankle. If you cannot play, then shut it down.
    - Only informed the training staff about his decision, before publicly announcing it. What about the coaching staff or front office? This was a clear breach in protocol.
    - While microsurgery was an option, it was the least recommended option and the healthier way was to play through the pain as his muscles heal and strengthen. He had to go FIND a doctor to recommend it as a primary option.
    - The following season, he and Grover constantly announced to everyone willing to listen that he was 100% and ready to play. Subsequently, all his little fanboys started clamoring on GARM "OMG ROCKETS HATE HIM! THIS IS A CONSPIRACY TO CHAIN HIM TO THE PINE! HE SAYS HE IS READY SO PLAY HIM!" Guess what happened when he did play? He sucked it up on the Rockets, Knicks, and the training sessions with Bulls. During this period, T-Mac and TOF's did a 180 and started crying about how we were unfair to their idol and that he just had surgery and needed time to recover. Didn't he say so himself that he was ready?
    - He agreed with the 8 minute per game and then proceeded to whine about it afterwards to anyone who would listen. You made the decision to agree T-Mac, so man up to it.
    - He quit on the Rockets starting from the Toronto game. Yes I am sure players have quit before, but when you quit on the team I love, I WILL despise you forever unless you bring a championship. T-Mac couldn't even get us past the first round or with any team.
    - It is funny how TOF's are always saying how crappy a team he had. Other players of lesser individual talent has taken their teams farther, never mind getting out of the first round. Iverson took his crappy team ALL THE WAY TO THE FINALS.

It is fine to like a player, but there is a difference between fantasy and reality.

Looks like we should have kept McGrady. Just one year after he was "100%" he is now averaging a whopping 7 points and 3 rebounds a game!

    Morey/Adelman = FAIL!!!

Kevin isn't even the leader of the Rockets. And
what exactly do you consider quitting. One play where he could barely run and didn't want to end up on the top play on sportscenter. Sure, defend Kevin all you want but he can't even make the playoffs with a better supporting cast then Tracy has ever had in his career. It's hard being a Rockets fan right now, watching the boring brand of basketball with unathletic players who disappear in the clutch while our team just wins enough to be the 11th pick in the draft and miss any chances at picking the next big thing. Anyways getting off topic here so I will bring it back. Mcgrady needed surgery, saying otherwise is moronic. Being a Scottie fan, why are you even on this thread, from the sounds of it, you do not know too much about basketball anyways.
