I see peeps on here posting trade this player, don't trade this one. Truth is that NO ONE on this team is untouchable. NO ONE. As long as they are moved in a trade that makes or potentially makes this team better I'm 100% for it. Truth is this team just isn't that good.

    Scola +8
    PPat -11

I have no idea how changing the player would have help us win the game and PPat who was 1-6 from the field.

All the starter but KMart have + numbers. Our bench didn't play well today.

People want defense well JJ play 6 minutes and we got outscore by 15 points.

Pls This game wasn't lost by Scola, but by the bench who gave all the point back to quickly.

    This.

Scola has made some big shots for us before. I've never thought of him as weak down the stretch.

... I really wonder about Rockets "fans" sometimes.

I love Scola but I'm not opposed to trading him. Honestly though I don't think anything we could get in return would be an upgrade. He's a top 10 PF.

There's too much hate on Scola....Even in this off game for him, he was clearly the best rebounder of the team, 11 rebs..

Scola could be a GREAT PF when having a Good DEFFENSIVE CENTER to backup his limitations at D (remember him playing alongside Yao, he could perform a good D, cause his weakness could be covered decently by Yao)....

IT's not that difficult to get a player like Okafor (horrible contract for NO, but good fit for the Rockets), Dalembert or any young defensive C could do the trick....No need of antoher Yao...

    Last 3 games.

    34-12-24 Point with 11-9-10 RPG

He got a bad stretch since Hayes got hurt (Hill - Scola combo wasn't working) but he is getting out of the funk. And ppl forget he made the first two shots in the OT to put Houston up by 4 and yes he miss last 3 (last one was a bad pass from Lowry that he fumble) But this game as many before it should never went to OT.

We just keep giving this lead back every time.

Scola for the price is one of the best Bang for the Buck we can get.

And guest what? The guy doesn't get hurt.

I trade him to get batter NP, but he is clutch as a PF as many player they will struggles at times and miss shots down the stretch most of the time just ask Kobe.

If this is not knee jerk I dont know what is.
Ya, it might be time to trade Scola, but it is not because he is bad. Instead, he is our best asset. Put him with a healthy Yao and Rockets, to Magic, to Thunder, to Spurs, they'll be instantly as elite as the Lakers and the Heats.

Take out Scola the current rockets will be the last 3 in the league. I know a lot of fans want to tank. Actually I wont be against that either. But please be fair to our players. If we trade Scola, it is because he's been so good that other teams want him, and we wish him all the best to pursue a ring.

The OP and any of you kneejerkers on this thread are either idiots or trolls.

I bet none of the 'trade Scola' could / would
    a) call him a scrub, choker, bum, loser etc to his face.
    b) be able to beat him 1 on 1
    c) stop cheering for him once we get a decent centre and he is the one helping us go deep into the playoffs.
    d) forgive themselves if he demanded a trade to a team that doesn't have pseudo fans that only love you when you win.

Mate I know it hurts, I'm gutted that we lost again today but to dis a player who is doing his best to fill a role he is not suited to is weak.

I can't stand Brad Miller, but if Yao was healthy he'd be an integral part of our team, but Yao is out - deal with it until Morey can pull off a trade or signing in the next few weeks.

PS: The Brad Miller thing is because he reminds me of a poor man's Lohaus.

...I just get annoyed when people keep pointing out the problem but offer no solution; just Trade Scola. He is our most consistent and one of the hardest working players on the team, giving us 19-9 or thereabouts.

Would I trade Scola? In a heartbeat if it was good for the long term goals of the team, and for a player/s that could replace his production, hustle and heart. There aren't many around that could do that.

All we would need is a Dalembert or McGee , with an upgrade on the wing, I would love J Smoove , or G Wallace who is on the cheap now, to team up with AB, Martin & Scola then we'd have some offensive / defensive balance.

Everyone would love to have Dwight, Melo, CP3 & Griffin force a trade or sign with the Rockets, but who would want to come here when this is the backlash they'd cop from 'fans' when they have an off game or two.

    Go Rockets!

What the **** are you talking about? Nobody is clutch all the time. Otherwise they would have a perfect record! MJ lost some games, does that mean he he wasn't clutch?

This is a knee thread. We can trade Scola, but we do it for the right price, not just because "its time to trade him".

He ain't making superstar money so I don't expect him to put this team on his back and win a ring. He's also durable and after Yao and McGrady, Rox fans should be grateful for a guy like Scola. There's a lot wrong with this team but it's not him, someone ought to do a study on players in the league that give you the most production for the money taking into account injury time and I bet Scola is top 5 in the league.
