Chuck Hayes is amazing. But Come on! We can not win game when he is starting center of Rocket. We have been tortured in the paint badly.

Yeah ra is only one of the leagues best coaches bur he's clueless. Don't blame the players failure to execute on him. I have seen lowry dribble the shotclock out and force someone into r****ded shot way too many times in late game situations.

Vision - exactly. Most said January was 'The Decision' month of what direction we would head. Obviously we have struggled so I hate to ask a dumb question but what direction do you see them going and/or what would you like to see them do?

IMO, we might be 'stuck'. Morey and the Rockets will not 'tank'(or rather throw the towel in) yet I'm not sure who is out there on the block that they could/would acquire that would make a real difference. You're then making a trade just to make a trade, although one might argue any shakeup/trade is needed. As you pointed out, we're stuck in neutral. Not going forward or backwards, not good enough for the playoffs or bad enough for good lotto pick. What to do?!

I think Chris Mannix said it perfectly the other day on radio. If you're gonna rebuild, you do it all the way. In Rockets934life's sig, it's also well put.

It's amazing how people still want to cling to the idea that our players are good enough to execute and that the problem is the Hall of Fame coach, not the bad roster full of role players and inexperienced young players with no leader and no closer/superstar.

Newsflash, we don't have very good players. You can get Phil Jackson to coach this team and it's not going to make much of a difference. Rick Adelman can draw up the best play in the world but he can't go out and run it, can he? Coach is one of the few areas where we actually have a guy that other teams would love to have if they had the chance and he's the guy people here wanna blame.

Are you illiterate? When did I blame that on him? Read my post again or actually, just learn to read.

How good/bad players are have NOTHING to do with RA needing to call timeouts when the momentum starts to shift, subbing out players doing bad or keeping in players doing good, and changing defensive matchups when they are clearly not working (Scola on West or Aldridge). I am not blaming him for poor execution of offense. I am blaming him for not being a good coach IN THE GAME.

When has Scola ever been on Aldridge when Chuck Hayes is healthy?

    Went to the game tonight.
My opinion, Kyle was channeling Steve Francis. Especially in the closing minutes. They stopped moving the ball. Very disappointing loss.
Scola is not himself this year. He doesn't box out.
I was glad to see Chuck back but he is obviously not 100%.

I don't think I will be spending any money on games until there are some significant changes made.

Chuck is the man for not sugar-coating the loss. He is a true leader that can take accountability for mistakes.

Its time for the Houston SuperTeam:

    Chris Paul
    Kevin Martin
    Carmelo Anthony
    Luis Scola
    Jordan Hill

If Morey can't get this team together, he's fail.

    I dont care who wins.

We are going to be better than Minnesota and Sacramento when the season finishes. We are the 3rd worst team in the West. No?

I don't think Adelman is a bad coach, BUT, he's not the right coach for this team. He, like most coaches, coaches much better with better players but when it comes to having to rely on making good adjustments during the game, he's not as sharp. It's easier when you have elite talent.

He's just grasping for straws at this point desperate for wins and the bottom line is his panicking is causing him to make irrational decisions down the stretch (staying too long with players he's comfortable with and reluctant to put other guys in who could do better job at the time). It's starting to look like Adelman's last days in Sacramento when the Kings were starting to go from mediocre to bad. I hope the Rox aren't headed in that same direction. If the Rox don't make a major trade to bring in a star or two, Adelman needs to go.

I think if the clippers make the playoffs, they will be a tough out.

We are better than Sacramento, Minnesota, Golden State, Clippers, Memphis, Phoenix for sure.

We are actually better than Portland talent-wise. We are not as well coached as Portland is. And we are just to good in finding ways to lose easy games :(

Scola is a very good player with a strong defensive center on the floor. The problem is that there is ZERO post defense or shot blocking and as a result the weaknesses in Scola's game are magnified.
