All indications are that Bryce Drew will be traded for his own good, now, to where is the question? Let's outline some possibilities, and discuss them, to find our backup PG a nice home.

    In no particular order:
    1. Sacramento-This is a new possibility. Apparently, they've lost Delk to Phoenix (crossing them off the list), and JWeed is suspended for the first 5 games, and that could possibly become more. They're still a post up team, but have a run and gun style like the Rockets. They're possibility.

    2. Clippers-They have Dooling, but he's not exactly a polished PG (though I love his potential) Drew could help stop the gap, and his contract runs out in 2 years, right about the time Dooling will be mature.

    3. Celtics-Always trying to replace Kenny Anderson

    4. Toronto-They'd like a combo type of guard, that's a PG first. Drew would fit that.

    5. Chicago-My bet is that Fizer or Crawford will be gone. If it's Crawford they'll need a PG. Or if it's Fizer, Crawford could be in their plans as a SG, not a PG.

    6. Orlando-Still needs a backup for D. Armstrong, and some of the old rumors have him going in a sign and trade.

    7. Indiana-Is Jackson staying or going? Most people say going. Best would be the starter, but the backup job would be open. And Drew's game fits it well.

I think that's it, though I could have missed some. Thoughts? remarks?

I shall await Smeg's arrival of saying that he saw a good house for sale in Australia for a good price. [IMG]

All those teams seem like possibilities but I would take Indiana off the list since I hear Jalen Rose will be their point guard next season.

I bet we keep him until Cat makes his decision. If Cat does leave he could become our 3rd guard, so he may not be out of the equation yet.

I don't think Miami will be a fit. Being in South FL I hear that Anthony Carter will sign for one of Miami's exceptions. If Anthony Carter resigns with the Heat they will not have a need for Drew.

    Charlotte Hornets, if Jones leaves
    Knicks, if they trade Childs
    Sixers, if Iverson is traded.
Wizards, for some reason, I think he would fit nicely there.

    I'll take him!

I can feed him Ramen noodles everyday and take him on walks to my city park where I'll school him all over the court.

Does he already have his shots or do I have to pay for them?

    OH!

And is he neutored? Don't want him making Drew babies around the neighborhood.

I thought about Miami, but they plan on keeping Hardaway and AC, both indicating they're staying.

Philly doesn't need him regardless of Iverson. Their PG is Eric Snow.

4chuckie is probably right. Bryce Drew maybe the backup shooting guard this season if Cuttino leaves and we can't trade for a good backup shooting guard. I think thats why Houston hasn't traded him already. Their keeping him til Cuttino signs or leaves. Then may trade Bryce Drew for a decent shooting guard or something else(if Cuttino stays). Kind of a backup plan.

We could trade him to the Backstreet Boys for Britney Spears and a diet Coke.

I think he would fit in nicely there.

Good list NIKE, but what about Utah? If Eisley leaves, that would leave them with Stockton probably for just one season, with Vaughan as the back-up. Drew and Vaughan would probably fight for the back-up role, and dibs as the future PG of that team (at least until they get someone better). Of course, the clean-cut, choir boy Bryce would fit in nicely with Salt Lake City's lifestyle. Word is either Vaughan or Eisley will leave this summer.

And about Orlando, but isn't Chucky Atkins their backup? Unless he's bolting for sure . . .?

Why trade Drew? If Mobley signs with Toronto, Houston should find a taller G to play in the backcourt with Drew.

    C Olajuwon
    PF Cato, Collier
    SF Langhi
    SG Anderson, Drew
    PG Francis

Some Trade Value: Thomas, Williams, Rogers, Massenburg, Norris

From what I've seen, apparently Detroit is replacing Hill's cap space with Ben Wallace and Chucky Atkins (most sites report he's gone), that also could open up Williams for a trade, a positive.

Drew isn't a taller guard, he's 6'3'', maybe shorter. A taller guard is 6'6''-6'7''ish. We'd actually be getting shorter by replacing Drew for Mobley.

    NIke,

My two brothers are both 6 foot tall, and my mum is willing to trade either of them for Bryce Drew plus a second round draft pick, chuck in Walt or Bull and she said you can have them both.
