Did anyone even notice the twist here? The conference was cut short, when media tried to get clear about his denial. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/news/story?id=6016717 "It's just how I was feeling at the time," James said. "It wasn't even a comment from me, it was someone who sent it to me and I sent it out. It wasn't toward that team. It definitely wasn't a good showing by that team last night, I know they wish they would've played better." I think everyone looks into everything I say. Everybody looks too far into it. No hit toward that organization. I've moved on and hopefully that organization is continuing to move on. But I'm happy where I am as a Miami Heat player." When asked to clarify his confusing comments, James and the questions were cut off by a member of the Heat public relations staff. So, how did you feel at the moment Lebron when you moved on?
Lebron is just not all that bright. He made the comment and tried to say he re-tweeted it, which comes with a distinct, retweet marker...which was absent. He has TMac-itis....seems to have lacked that father figure growing up that told him to man up and take responsibility. Too much mama's boy telling him nothing you do is wrong baby ! DD
That's really classless of you. Both Lebron and McGrady are raised by single parents. I don't see why you found it necessary to joke about what they didn't have growing up as a child. Do you think they enjoyed growing up without a father figure? This is equivalent to calling someone stupid because they were deprived of education as a child.
I'm so terribly vexed right now. I've been a Heat fan for almost 6 months now, I've been through the hard times, the good times and now the embarrassing times. I thought it would be all champagne wishes and caviar dreams, but thus far it just hasn't materialized and I just can't continue to root for a loser after this sudden downturn. Can anyone recommend me a team to root for until they turn it around? Thanks in advance!
What LeBron should have done was to just plain out accept and acknowledge to the media that, whether he wrote or retweeted the message, during the game that is exactly how he felt and said what was said out of spite he still felt towards the organization. Of course that would bring a bunch of fingers pointing towards him for being a douche but hey... Cleveland kinda deserves. Let me correct myself...Dan Gilbert deserves it. Either say what you're gonna say or dont say anything at all.
Seriously? You're in a Rockets Forum asking for a team to root for. You just failed the internet my friend.
okay everyone lsiten this guy is nuts and even if he roots for the rockets he would never be loyal to them like all of us. i have been tryign to get this guy to come to a damn slumber party at my house complete with a gummy hole (like a glory hole but rated G where you feed each other gummy bears through a hole in your wall) for over a week now and he refuses to come! this guy is just looking for the next best thing always. he won't commit to a bestie, or for that matter, an NBA team. He has been a Heat Fan since July 7, 2010. now he wants out after the embarassing loss last night to the Heat. i mean if i cant even get this guy to come over and play gummy bear glory hole with me what makes you think he will root for teh rockets after they go on a 5 game skid? He just wants to root for us right now because we beat Boston in Boston the other night. As soon as this one game skid goes south he will be right back on the Heat bandwagon. I am telling you this guy wouldnt even come to my own slumber party.
Sorry I just searched google for Lebron James and this popped up. I didn't notice this was a Rockets board. Thanks for the welcome though. A what?
He's not joking. That's a common theme for DD. Anytime a knucklehead from a two-parent household does something stupid, DD is quick to say the guy is an idiot. Anytime a knucklehead raised by a single mother does something stupid, it's because he didn't have a father around to teach him how to take responsibility for his actions.
A Gummy Hole. You drill a hole in your wall and your friend goes on the other side and you take gummy bears and you put them on the tip of ...a fork and you feed them to your best friend through the hole. it is a ton of fun. i used to write letters to players on the rockets like steve francis and Cat mobley to see if they ever wanted to come over to my apt and play. they never responded but i assume this is something that maybe these guys play in the locker rooms before and after games? not sure, but i dont see how they wouldnt play. it is a lot of fun.
dont act like you dont know. we used to play this in college and you JUST wrote me an email saying that you would make it to the slumber party tonight at my place and you asked if i could drill two more gummy holes. i am hoping that one of them is for Cat Mobley to use.
