Pay phone, map - it's been years. Paid inside last month- a gas station I stopped at in AR didn't have pay at pump slots. Weirdos. VCR- over a decade. Mail- nothing except the local utilities. It's that or pay $1 "convenience fee" to their crappy online pay. Phone books are a different animal. Many small businesses have a horrible, if any, online presence. Want a plumber? You'll find more local hits in the yellow pages than online.

I still use paper maps on occasion. I get a better 'feel' for an area and routes then I do on a monitor or a GPS screen. And my routing is sometimes better then the one suggested by the algorithm nerds at garmin. Plus I like laying out a map and seeing the whole area. On our latest road trip, I printed out maps for the kids, and they tracked our progress as we went -- which cut down, somewhat, on the 'are we there yet' chorus. I also use mapquest, google and the GPS. And the pumps in the US won't take my credit cards (no zip code), so I have to pay at the counter. We still have a VCR by the TV. My wife insists we use it....but it hasn't been connected since September and she hasn't noticed, so I'm guessing we don't. and I used a pay phone from Mexico in December. Room charge -- $6 call plus LD; Cell charge $5/min roaming; Payphone in lobby -- $0.20 min calling card FTW.
Ah yes, good old VHS flix. Nothing like leaving the tape in the VCR then getting a the most awkward "talking to" of your life.
