Quite true. You would be hard pressed to find someone who could stop AB on their own.

no need for his to shoot if he can just run over brooks. It's one on one and Lowry has him by 40 lbs.

Brooks. He is one of the few guys on this roster that can create his own shot, which is the only skill needed in one on one.

Rafer sucked a$$ as a scorer... Besides, Rafer never had a "prime", he sucked consistently through his career.

Brooks, there's no way Lowry can check Brooks without help D.

Brooks can let Lowry shoot long shots.

Brooks, Lowry can't shoot as well, plus, Lowry wouldn't be able to just jump into AB and call fouls the whole time, doesn't work that way in pickup

    Is this even a question?

Brooks would demolish Lowry. When did Lowry become the second coming of Jordan on defense? He gets the backup quarterback treatment around here and with the affection he gets, he tends to be built up into this mythical figure... Lowry can not keep up with Brooks. Yes, Lowry is pretty fast...but try keeping up with Brooks backpedaling....he'll be shook out of his sneakers. Some guys do not appreciate what we have in Brooks. The guy is one of the quickest cats in the league. He can hit the 3 pointer like an accurate gunslinger. He can weave through traffic...plus, his vertical leap is amazing. He's blocked many power forwards thinking they had an easy dunk in the air. This is not to say that Lowry isn't terrific. He's terrific in the team game where his abilities shine.... but amongst our point guards Brooks is the most explosive.

Lowry is the logical choice. He's bigger and stronger than Brooks. That means he'd not only be able to bully his way to the basket, but he'd also have a better chance at getting offensive rebounds.

Who ever has the ball first.

No NBA PG can guard another PG one on one.

Trick question. They both lose. Because Chuck Norris always wins.

i've rarely if ever seen kyle lowry execute a one on one move.

it's usually bulldoze in the paint and get a foul call.

I give Brooks the edge. With his step back three he would put up points quick. Lowry would have a hard time staying in front of him.

    But..

Lowry would plow through Brooks when driving to the basket. He would get almost all the rebounds. Might not be that many to grab though.

have you guys ever tried to play a guy of similar skill level but 40lbs heavier in one on one?

    Brooks would get demolished.

Even if Lowry misses, he would just bulldoze his way to all the rebounds and putbacks.

1 on 1 isn't relevant because we have only seen them play on a organized team. Thus. This thread is full of bull****.

A person's skill is different one on one.
Defense is less stressful in one on one.
It would be a game of who makes the most shots in a row and who misses the most shots in a row.
