    hey guys,

    I would like to see what kind of indicators yall like to use for swing trading. Please state the different indicators u use and the criteria or parameters u set it to? Timeframe would be great too.

    Currently, i use:
    MA = 21, 50, 200
    Slo Stoch (5,3)
    William R% (13)
    Williams (27)
    MACD (regular)

    Timeframe = Enter on 8 min, watch 15 min, watch day, week charts....

    Any sugguestion for improvement? Thanks.

    You shouldn't really be using any indicators. Almost everyone of the indicators you listed are lagging indicators. Just use price action and volume. A few other professional traders I know use the 10 period RSI, but that is the extent of their indicators.

    What instruments do you trade?

    Price action meaning understanding chart patterns and support/resistance/breakout/breakdown/consolidation levels along with candlestick interpretation.

    I use volume in regards to looking for up/down moves with strong volume to confirm the intended interest in the trade by the big traders. For example, if a stock/futures contract is rising on low volume, that indicates alot of times that there isn't much conviction in the trade and that moderate selling can topple that uptrend.
