This video makes me laugh. Clipper announcer's favorite play call is vanilla plain "Slam dunk!" Hey man, I was at that game. Awesome to see Griffin dunk it over our beloved Rockets. Ralph Lawler is old school but he's a great commentator.
wow! Clippers line-up is to be envied. If they can keep Griffin healthy, they will surpass even the Lakers in a couple of years. wow, just wow
January 11, 2011 - The Lakers destroy the Cavs 112-57. LeBron James tweets about how karma is a b****. Later, LeBron denies even sending the tweet. January 12, 2011 - The lowly Clippers rise up against the mighty Heat and hold on to win 111-105, much to the chagrin and dismay of francis4prez (is it me or is that dude always rooting for the supposed best teams in the league?). LeBron, since you never went to college and your high school education is obviously fleeting...what happened to you and your team last night is karma, my friend. I am hoping that LeBron keeps "tweeting" as it seems hilarity always ensue soon after.
Whitlock tweeted this, "Heat lose. LeBron hurts ankle. Karma is a b****. God watches everything. "
Haha, I used to not care for Jason Whitlock but seeing him on the Sports Reporters and hearing him talk has changed my mind. He's okay in my book.
uhh, i'm pretty much always staunchly against the supposed best team in the league. i pretty much just start naturally hating whoever is good. i hated jordan's 2nd 3-peat bulls, i hated the 3-peat lakers teams, i have never been happy with a spurs title, i didn't like miami winning it (because of shaq), and i didn't like boston in 2008 (mostly because the patriots and red sox had given boston way too much already), and wasn't rooting for the lakers last year because of the insane level of praise kobe was starting to get. i'm pretty much pissed off at the end of every nba season. the only real exception to this would be the lakers before last year, and as anyone who has read enough of my posts in the NBA Dish would know, i basically started liking them when shaq left and went through 3 crappy years of defending kobe and their mediocre team and then just got lucky with the gasol thing. but eventually they won too much and kobe got too much praise and i think i'm basically back to disliking them as is part of my sports fan nature. i've only jumped on the heat bandwagon because i had been on the lebron bandwagon for 3 or 4 years now. and you'd be hard-pressed to tell me that cheering on/defending the heat/lebron has been the easy way to go for the last couple of years.
when the lakers had the glove the mailman the shaqfu and the kid named kobe nobody rooted for them..... so everytime they lost it was all over the paper too bad they lost anyways!
