[Chron] Hayes Close to Returning

Chuck may not be able to sky for those dunks like he used to, but I think he'll still be able to get the job done.

 

Sad thing is he will take Jeffries' minutes instead of Hill's. And we will be worse for it. Jeffries should be getting all of Hill's minutes now. Our big rotation should be Jeffries, Scola, Patterson with Hill getting scraps. But, it won't happen until the trade and then it is likely that both Hill and Jeffries are gone, hopefully for a significant upgrade in the paint.

 

I have learned to appreciate Chuck A LOT more over these last two weeks but part of me is not exactly thrilled that this team was constructed to cave if we'd ever lose Chuck FREAKING Hayes.

 

He plays outstanding defense. Defense is hard to come by especially with a team that doesn't play much team defense in the first place.

Hill is a guy you play for a short stretch and if he has it he keeps playing. He is either on or terrible. Pat Pat is looking great ATM.

 

Agreed that Jeffries should play over Hill, but Hayes helps this team more than either of them.

As long as he's healthy enough to play, get him out there! We need him badly right now.

And thank God for that! Brooks injury, along with the type of player he is, wouldn't allow for such a quick and effective return to the court. It seems highly probable, durvasa, that you optimism will be the outcome.
