I guess you heard about the 100+ death toll(mostly foreigners) and 3 blasts which occurred in Bali tourist bars and near a consulate. I guess Bali needs to find a new way to make money because the tourism is sure to plummet. This is a huge sign that Indonesia needs to do more than they are doing to fight terrorism. Screw irking the moderate Muslims. Not one arrest yet from what I've read. Their really on their toes around there I guess  . Better watch out or the US government will add you to their list. At least we have a new focal point to attend to.

Bali used to be a hot tourist destination for Australians and others...before their lack of security was exposed. What are they going to do to change that? It probably doesn't matter now. Scratch that one off the destination list to visit. I wonder how many different countries lost lives to this one. Such an evil thing to bomb any kind of tourist location. I don't care what your justification is...it's not enough. The bad guys deserve whatever they get. Jihad against tourists? That's pretty f*cking sad.

I guess you can still go all-inclusive if your up for it...

apparently the bomb has claimed many Australians, especially football players who were on their end of season football trips, two of the teams in the national comp (30-40 guys each team) were luckily just departing as it happened, several players from the team that won the local premiership here in my town last week are missing.

    peace

This is really bad news. Devastating.
It's weird though, because last night I stayed out until 5:30am clubbing. I get home, sleep for a few hours and then hear the news. It's taking a while to sink in.

I don't think that just politicians stating that they're throwing resoures at terrorism will ever solve the problem. What must happen, is humanity as a whole must identify terrorism and thus terrorists as a scourge which must be exorcised.

Many around the world rationalized 9-11 as cause-effect, 'cause' being past US mistakes. But 9-11 was about little egos and hate. It was not rational, and that will become apparent to the world as a whole as the terrorist continue their heinous acts.

Our prayers for those hurt and their families.

    Blasphemy

Read this from a Yahoo! news article:

    MUSLIM CLERIC BLAMES U.S.

The blasts came on the second anniversary of the al-Qaeda linked attack against the USS Cole (news - web sites) in the port of Aden, Yemen. They followed a bomb blast in Finland that killed seven people and wounded dozens.

The United States and Singapore, which has detained dozens of people in a crackdown on what it says is a Southeast Asian terror network, Jemaah Islamiah, have been pressing Indonesia to arrest Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir they describe as a pivotal player in the group.

At a news conference on Sunday, Bashir blamed the United States for the attacks.

"It would be impossible for Indonesians to do it," he said. "Indonesians don't have such powerful explosives."

"I think maybe the U.S. are behind the bombings because they always say Indonesia is part of a terrorist network."

This guy should at the very least be interrogated. He talks like a smoking gun.
