NO WAY COMING TO AMERICA isn't on that list. Does GHostbusters have a thread of its quotes in Clutchfans?!?!?! I don't think so. My respects to GB, but it doesn't make my entire family laugh. That's what SHE said.
I'd supplement it with Austin Powers I and Meet the Parents, and that'd be my top 5 for modern comedies.
I would second the addition of Airplane, and the Peter Sellers Pink Panther pantheon, and would also have to add The Whole Nine Yards. Was thinking about this list earlier, and it struck me what is MISSING, and what not one person has mentioned, and probably not even thought of.. which just goes to support my long-time loathing of the films in question, and my opinion of them as some of the most over-rated crap ever put on film, and yet so supposedly universally-loved and praised: I am talking, of course about Men in Black, and also Home Alone. I despise Home Alone (whenever I see Macauley Culkin's face, I want to step on it), and the Men in Black movies were just messes to me, really poorly done I thought. It's gratifying to see them NOT on these (or apparently anyone elses' lol) list...
Thinking about this even more, it's really not enough to just name a list of movies, because there have been so many performer and movie creators who have developed a larger body of work than just any single film. I'm not going to pretend that I am well-versed with the comedies from many years before I was born, so I would stick to what I know better... Rather than naming, say, Pink Panther, it might be better to just mention Blake Edwards movies, for example '10' , which is one of the funniest movies ever, and it was not on the list. You have of course lots and lots of Woody Allen movies to choose from, Sleeper is not on the list. Mel Brooks has two on the list, but that leaves off High Anxiety, which was just a perfect riff on Hitchcock's films.. (and for those who like Spaceballs, or Men in Tights or, ugh, Dracula, Dead & Loving it... no. Just.. no.) Airplane! is there, but really you have the whole Zucker pantheon, all the way back to Kentucky Fried Movie, up through Top Secret and the Naked Gun movies.. The list seems to be heavily-slanted to the early SNL days, with a large dose of Bill Murray, which is fine, but maybe there should be some kind of all-encompassing group with Murray, Aykroyd, Chevy Chase.. Then on up to Eddie Murphy.. Coming to America, sure, but I would say that Trading Places is at least as funny if not funnier. All the way on up into guys like Mike Myers, with Wayne's World 2 (much better than 1), and of course Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Then you get into the creative producers such as the Farrely Brothers, and picking up guys like Jim Carrey and Ben Stiller.. Dumb & Dumber is a great comedy, and so is Something About Mary.. And on to McKay, and Will Farrell.. nobody mentioned Talladega Nights yet, which is right up there with Anchorman.. And on into this more current Mckay crop, with 40-Year-Old Virgin, but also Superbad, Knocked Up, Pineapple Express.. And on and on.. we could make lists like this that go on for page after page.. fact is, everyone likes to laugh, people have different tastes, and such things are always entire subjective. It's always fun to think about though, mainly because it helps remember the things we love which we maybe have not thought about in a long time, or maybe even totally forgotten. I mean, when's the last time you watched It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, or M*A*S*H, or Overboard, or Ruthless People? Movies like that, which still make me laugh today... Ah well, I think I will have to hit up the Netflix queue soon...
Don't know about Friday, but Babershop should have made the list. Also, fletch was funny. Stripes is up there too, along with spies like us.
Have you seen it? Also, add to that, Orgazmo, and Team America: World Police I would say Cannibal! The Musical, but that one is more like a student film, even though it's still pretty funny. Shpedoinkle!
Caddyshack #8? Really? Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Ted Knight all in the same movie? While in their prime? Seriously, almost every line in that movie is quotable. Should be #1. #2 at the lowest (behind only Airplane!)

Rushmore? Rushmore? That was terrible. Clearly the list is skewed. This is more like a quasi-underrated top 25 comedy list. Silly.
Adam Sandler not represented at all? That is surprising. I would personally have Billy Madison pretty high on my list, but I figured he was popular enough to get something in there.
a list without My Cousin Vinny is blasphemous. Best movie of all time IMHO: *spoiler alert* <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1q7mjoxHzm4?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1q7mjoxHzm4?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
