Yes we have the talent. But is on the bench waiting for a blow out to get PT.

Ish would have finish the game with a victory. He was toying with a tired Williams at the end, but Adelman fell sorry for Utah and decide to bring a tired Kyle so it was even for Utah.

Yep. I think it's time to start Patterson and let Scola come off the bench. Either that or start Scola but let Patterson close the game. Scola's defense on the pick and roll was atrocious. He showed too far out and that left Millsap with a free lane to the basket. No way you even leave Millsap if he's that hot during overtime. No excuse.

Sadly, he's an old dog with the same tricks. That goes for Scola physically and Adelman metally.

Should have never taken out the bench in the 4th. I think everyone agrees with me on that.

But Scola really made me sick in this game. It's one thing to mistakenly leave a guy open a couple of times, but to watch that guy hit 6 jumpers in a row and then CONTINUE to leave him wide open is absolutely stupid. I used to roll my eyes when people called Scola the worst defensive PF in the league, but now I think that might be overrating his defense a little bit.

Morey needs to let his balls drop and confront Adelman about his shenanigans.

    we never tank.

just win against inferior talent then finish the season with the 9th-10th seed and get a poor pick in the draft and remain mediocre.

this loss is clearly on adelman and adelman alone.

and the worst thing is, due to the chronicle's corporate marriage with the rockets organization, there will be no media reporting about this

The Rockets will need to go 34-11 in order to win 50 games and have a reasonable chance of making the playoffs.

Even if the barrier was lowered to 47 victories, that means finishing 31-14.

In other words, nothing less than a miraculous win streak is going to get this team into the 2011 playoffs.

Please bring back Don Nelson. I want this team to have zero offense and zero defense.

Reasons we lost tonight (in order of relative importance):

    (1) Piss-poor three-point shooting

    (2) Adelman miscalculating by sticking with the starters/Miller too long

    (3) Poor defense by Scola and [whoever need to rotate to Millsap] in OT

Look, Brad Miller deserves blame for a lot of things, but he actually had a pretty good game tonight overall. I wish he could have hit one of those wide-open 3s, but his D wasn't bad tonight (actually drew some key charges and got some key rebounds).

Save your Miller hate for when he deserves it more.

I'm sure you'll get plenty of chances.

I loved Kevin Martin when we picked him up but he is the scoring leader on this team and a defensive liability.

    He needs to go.

He's a leader and we need our leaders to show that defense is important.

I wish we could get someone who could score as well as play defense. I'd take 10 fewer points a game to get someone who would make the effort on D.

    anyone

Start with Luis and substitute with Patterson and JJ.

Yup. That's one thing we are consistent at. Probably, the only thing.

Too many one-dimensional players in the starting lineup.

Our rotations would be more entertaining. And we could beat the Mavericks in the 1st round.

lowry took 7 3s! SEVEN! how does this happen?

the rockets can not stop talented bigs (aldridge, milsap) because of the absurdly slow post players on the court in the 4th (scola miller).

3rd quarter we looked horrible again, played with absolutely no energy and we didnt do anything that was working in the first half.

biggest fail of the game is Shane's wild fade away 3 pter with 4 secs on the shot clock
