Do we have the 4 worst defenders at their rotation spots in the league?

Mo Williams is still in the NBA.

He trumps anything we have except Chase.

A defensive Center/Shotblocker instantaneously solves this problem and erases A LOT of shortcomings pertaining to perimeter defense.

 

Lowry's defense is pretty bad, he can't stay in front of average speed PGs....he makes up for it by hustling and digging the ball out, but one on one he is pretty bad.

Battier's is good,

Chucks is good

Courtney's is off and on, he goes for too many fakes

And, no one knows about Terrance yet...we have to wait and see.

And yes, I do like offense.....over defense.

That doesn't make him a good defensive player. So it is sort of irrelevant for this discussion.

Sure he had a great shooting night last night. But he cannot defend at all.

 

Errrrrr! Wrong. Hayes by far. Beginning of the season Battier was nut f'ing horrible.

 

Guess you dont know. Saying at all is ignorant. Highly ignorant. He plays the passing lanes and there has been a few games that his defense landed wins at the end of games. So what you said , I am just going to stop.

You know what no I wont. You could say he isnt good on ball defense. You can say he gambles a lot. But to say he cannot defend at all is stupid.

 

And yet those Kings teams were consistently top 5-10 in the league in defense even with all those "soft" players.

 

I'm not sure if your watching the same Scola and Budinger I'm watching. Scola's defense is not even close to par. He does show well on the hedge for pick and rolls, but that's about the only thing he does well. Literally every other area of defense he is far below average. Budinger is another story. He doesn't close out well, he doesn't stay in a defensive stance, he is never in position, he gets blown by literally every time someone drives and it causes other people to have to help and then it creates mismatches. I would say that Budinger's defense probably accounts for 70% of the opposition's points when he is on the floor.

 

martin is one of the worst shooting guards on defense i have ever seen in my life. even an old, past his prime reggie miller was a better defender than martin.

 

Don't even bother telling people on this board that, most have made up their mind that Adelman teams suck at defense and seem to wanna ignore the actual facts.
