Eddie Griffin update

He'll never play for rockets again, but I think he'll be back the season after next and get scrub minutes.

I hope he sorts himself out

 

VERY Interesting to read all the posts below.... Yes it WAS quite an evening of events at the hotel back on January 25, 2004...

Seems there are many events, in other areas of the hotel that went on that the family was unaware of.... It did not all take place on on the guest rooms floors with Eddie and members of the wedding party (especially one!)

It also seems that the Rutherford Police and the Nets did a very quick clean up job on this to keep it low key. AMAZING was money will do and that professional athletes continue to get away with these this all the time!!

Many, many details did not seem to make it to the papers....Hmmm....blocked some how??

Good thing for video cameras!! They tell the real deal!!

I delivered a pizza to Eddie once. Not only did he give me a ****ty tip, but he tipped with nickels!

 

All I will share at ths moment is that:

It was NOT a misunderstanding by any means and there certainly should have been a meaty police report and charges pressed, as the police were fully aware of the altercations that took place!

And NO ONE was keeping an eye on EG who was to be restricted to his room after 10p, per his probation from Houston incident! He was romping all over the hotel THAT night and other nights that he stayed there.

Hmm...why did the Dodd's not press charges?!

You know what the most depressing thing about this is??? Seeing all the old handles that used to post on here.. I miss most of those guys.. I'm getting old.

i kept reading thru this thing wondering if i just made up the fact that eddie griffin was dead. didn't realize this old post got resurrected. smh.

 

When I saw this thread bumped, I thought the post was going to read "Still dead."

 

Why dont you just tell us what you know, instead of babbling about it without telling us much??
