I dislike that move coming from him, he should focus on overpowering or creating distance because he has the tools. Scola resorts to it because he can’t shoot over most defenders, bear with me Jordan Hill, yes you can.

Wow, way to give up on a 2nd year player playing his first Starters minutes.

    Playing against an All-Star Forward.

So which all-star game did he play in? ...take your time.

I have always said Hill is not a Center.

But his game is not like Aldridge. Hill can be a solid player in this league but if this is the Lamarcus Aldridge we will continue to see I don't see Hill ever reaching that level. That doesn't make him bad or not a good player though.

LA has already figured it out and has everything clicking.
JH is just figuring out how to play with a winning team...well winning team attitude.

You do know that only 12 players get selected , and usually only 2 PFs

Do you know Yao Ming leads in votes for NBA Centers.

LMA would be playing behind Dirk since he's better and more deserving than anyone else.

    Gasol is a Center.

Compare their heart and physicalness. That's the problem with Jordan, he's afraid of contact and does have the heart ala Dream, Barkley, Rodman etc... to be a beast on the board.

Please show him a Dream, Barkley, Moses, or Rodman tape on how to get it done. He also sees what Chuck does at 6'4" everyday at practice and he still hasn't learned.

There was a time on this board that LA was not thought of very highly. He has made huge strides in his game. Maybe Hill can also. Not to LA's extent, but anything even remotely close would be nice.

Not according to the Ballot for 2011 NBA All-Star Game he is not. You can't just make things up to suit.

This guy just isn't that smart. He's great as a 10-12 minute energy guy but if he is playing more than that then you are probably lottery bound. And we are.

Seriously, players as mentally slow and clueless as he is don't just "get it" one day. He'll get better but he will always be below average when it comes to on court intelligence.

Good point. I am seeing the future draft combines including a brain test. That'll eliminate a lot of so-called "upside" with dumb athletes who can't learn. Morey, exert your influence there! ;)

How long did it take LaMarcus Aldridge to start showing his grit? At the absence of Greg Oden, until Brandon Roy had stepped down and released the reigns a little? Well, however long it took- I'm giving that same time-span to J. Hill. Call me crazy, but I'd like to compare him to a (flat-footed)Amare Stoudemire more; if we're talking about current players still playing.

in Aldridge's sophomore season where he supposedly was soft and weak and shot jumpers all day. He averaged 17.8 points 7.6 rebounds and shot 48.4%

This season where he is now a man/all-star/balls out/showing his grit and carrying his team, he is averaging 20 points 8.7 rebounds and shooting 47.6%.
