    No, they just legislate what players wear.

    Seriously, I'm of two minds about it. I think in most cases, banning is unnecessary and they should continue punishing only the trouble-makers who get in fights over it. On the other hand, I can see a gambling habit within the team having a poisonous effect on the team culture that breeds hostility between players even when they don't openly fight. Especially given the large power and salary disparity that exists between the star players and the fringe guys. So, I can see the justification for teams to ban it where it causes tension.

    You're just asking for trouble if you let players gamble against each other. The money dispartiy has a lot to do with it.

    The Grizzlies banned gambling, which I think is healthy actually. I didn't like the idea of them banning the actual card game itself, but banning gambling makes sense to me

    I'm guessing most teams don't go over the gameplan on the airplane and alot of players don't sleep on the airplane.
