Hate to admit I thought the same. Or DON'T let him aggravate the injury because he is Prime Grade A 100% trade bait and the way he's playing now is hurting more than helping the team.
he's been playing hurt. I hope Ish gets more time. I like the way he passes to everyone. a second unit of ISH - can create and great passer, good in transition TWILL - Can create, great passers, good D, Good Transition Game CLEE - Good D, good transition Game, can hit the 3 PAT - Can nail the base line jumper and anywhere up to 15ft and Good feel on D Miller - Can play the High post & Great passer, initiates the O. would be interesting to watch. it would be our tallest line up.
Brooks is not trade bait. He has been playing hurt and that has hurt the team overall because his performance has decline dramatically. Brooks does not have high trade value this season given his inability to be signed to an extension and the fact that he will be a restricted free agent this summer. Given his poor performance so far this season, Brooks will most likely be signed in the offseason for a fraction of the price he would have garnished last offseason. The most likely candidates to get moved due to their high trade value as of now would be - Scola, Yao's contract, Draft Pick considerations, Hill, Courtney Lee -Those are the assets teams will most likely be interested in first in negotiations in a trade. -Remember, these are assets/players that OTHER TEAMS would want to give up something in return. Not players YOU think are expendible.
Playing hurt and having to face Patty Mills whom he can't keep up with while injured, probably a good idea to rest a bit until he can do his step back jumper and gain his explosion. DD
He probably will play but I like the line up. Granted he is lighting it up right now but his lack of D makes me unhappy so i didnt include him.
I don't know why, but when I saw the thread title I immediately thought to myself that this is good news.... Out of consideration and experience it's hard playing on a hurt ankle..: and I believe that's the ankle he jumps off of and pushes off for that quick step to his strong side (right side) This is what's best for the team right now.
i felt some what the same as you. AB wasnt at his peak, no one can deny he is a talent but right now, I felt he was hurting the team.
agree... and I hope you also agree with me, that HE IS NOT TRADE BAIT. Please help me here. He is actually one of the least likely players on this roster to get moved.
