What movies were good all the way until the very end, only the have the ending ruin the entire movie for you? I'll throw a recent movie out there: Knowing. This movie had some horrible acting (Nick Cage as the star), but the plot and subject was very interesting to me. The ending was far out and stupid, though, and ruined pretty much the whole movie for me. I could have done without the last thirty minutes, plus.
I Am Legend. Spoiler A pretty good film, but the ending just seemed strange to me. Then I read online it got the Hollywood Executive treatment and the cinema release had the ending changed because test audiences didn't like the original. The original ending is on youtube and it MUCH better! Terminator Salvation Spoiler Once again, I enjoyed the movie, a few things didn't seem right though, and the ending was just rubbish! I then read online that Christian Bale decided he wanted to re-write some of the original story, and basically, he screwed everything up to make sure he was the star of everything.
Skyline, The whole movie is horrible but the ending was a total joke. Social Network.. anticlimactic. The Town... typical ending. i'm sure there's a lot more I can't think of right now.
The International. Had potential, but in the end I had the biggest WTF face. I actually watched through the credits wondering if something else was going to happen. But no.
The Last Indiana Jones movie - I would've been okay with the film if it weren't for the ending. It was okay (not great) until the end..the end absolutely killed any redeeming quality the rest of it might have had.
Unbreakable. Pretty darn good movie right up to the last minute or so. And then, it was like a middle-finger/slap-to-the-face all at the same time. And especially now in light of Mr Plinkett's final placement of the last brick over the tomb of the 'prequels', it just bears repeating for emphasis: As bad as all three prequels were, the ending of the 3rd was so abysmal as to have ruined not only them but also actually scarring the original trilogy as well.
When I was really into Anime there was this movie called Save my Plant or something like that and the ending ruined a very good anime.
I'm sure I've got a ton of flicks if I put any effort but recently it's got to be... The Last Exorcism Spoiler Movie had impressed me throughout but then the last 20 mins happen and it turns into the stupidest version of Rosemary's Baby
The Tourist Even though it wasn't a good movie in general, I feel as though the ending just took it to a whole new level of bad.
No Country for Old Men (easy and simple way out) Seven (great concept, but soooo predictable) I also agree with whoever mentioned the latest Indiana Jones movie, it was definitely the worst of the series, but passable until the absurd ending
