I didn't win on the ones I bought but I still got a shot since I went in a mini pool with my uncle and dad.
We put in 70 bucks at work and bought tickets. I have the copies here in my room but I'm just too lazy to get out of bed and check the numbers. I guess I'll know tomorrow.

Anyone interested in arriving at the possible UNIQUE combinations of the outcomes? ( 56! / (56-5)! ) * 50 Spoiler Six possible numbers, incuding the powerball. The first five balls can be from a lot of 56 and are white and cannot be drawn again. The order does not matter, so a low number can be picked first or last. The last ball is red and can be one of possible 46. Here's the math: 56 possible in the first draw. One is already taken, so in the next one, 55 possible can be drawn. Multiply these two numbers. For the third slot, 54 can be drawn, so multiply the total from the first two times the third, for a total of 166,320 possible combinations. Continue subtracting one to the next, until you reach the fifth ball, which can only be one of a possible 52. Now you have multiplied 56*55*54*53*52, and those are the possible WHITE BALL unique combinations (458,377,920). The last and RED BALL can be one of 46, so you can multiply the entire product above times 46 to get the possible number of unique numbers (21,085,384,320... yes, 21 billion). Mind you, you will also match 5 numbers in the WHITE 1 times, four numbers five times (remove 1 ball at any location of five), and three numbers a bunch of other times... ... so... anyone want to join a 21 billion unique number pot? We're guaranteed a win! I'll get started at writing down all possible numbers. It ALWAYS adds up to "more."

LOL...we pulled about $400 and the idiot friend in charge did pick the Lost numbers. Guess we got something back.
I played some of my favorite Astros' numbers. 5, 7, 17, 34, 50 - 44 With the exception of 34, all of my numbers were within 3 of the numbers pulled. If you remove 50, I picked four numbers within 2 of what was pulled. A few changes in the vibrations of the universe and I'd have $150 million right now. Or course, a few changes in the vibrations of the universe could have gotten me into a car crash on the way to buy the ticket, so it's best not to think about it. No one from Texas ever wins, so who cares.
