No way the Celtics do this. You are talking about the guy that Danny Ainge, Doc Rivers, and multiple analysts have gone out on a limb as to say that if Perkins doesn't get injured last year, they would have won the Finals against the Lakers. Is it because they also have Semi-retired Shaq & Jermaine O'Neal... You really think they would give away Perkins for what....??? I get headaches from these players that Rockets fans seem to think Morey can just steal away because the Rockets want him. You honestly cant give me one good reason why the Celtics would think about making this trade.
Love the dude but he's probably not leaving the Celtics unless some team throws him outrageous money.
you must be mistaken him for someone else, the guy is a team player and work hard in the gym, It's pretty obvious that you don't know anything about the guy.
He is Black and mean looking, he must be a cancer to the team! The Rockets will not be able to obtain Perkins from the Celtics as long as the big 3 are still playing.
I like the guy in my opinion but the Celtic community and the staff is showing him a lot of love since he got his injury and I don't think the Celtics are gonna trade a defensive center. If they do they would have anyone else besides old man Shaq and injured(again) Jermaine.
I know its a long shot, but Dwight Howard? He's from Atlanta, Georgia and UGK and T.I. did a song together.
This isn't the question. The question is: will Boston give him up? I fail to see why Boston won't resign him this summer, and why he would want to sign back with when he can be playing with Rondo, KG, PP, Ray Allen and Shaq.
You're probably right, but the Celtics are WAYYYY over the luxury tax threshold and will be so next year before even re-signing Perkins. If the Rockets can show Perkins some love with a nice free agent offer, maybe Boston doesn't step up to the plate to compete for him. Maybe. On Perkins, though, he's a very, very good post defender. I'd welcome him to this team.
I actually live in Beaumont and have met Kendrick on 2 occasions and the guy is very down to earth with no signs of having a bad attitude that I can see. He reps the area very well and we're all proud of him and what he's accomplished. It would be great if he were to come back and play in southeast tx. He would bring a toughness and defensive presence that we lack. On top of that he knows what its like to win in the playoffs. Dude is NOT a cancer by any means!!!!
