We will trade every one of the guys listed before we trade T-Will....

From what I gather, T-will is most effective at the 2. Unfortunately, we have quite a list of folks that can play there. The last thing I would want to do is bring him into the league playing out of position.

I would really like to see him get a shot though. Any player that has upside potential at BOTH ends of the floor is something that would help tremendously.

Perhaps Lee can play the 1 or 3 better than T-will. Perhaps you go with:

    Lowry/Lee
    Martin/Twill
    Battier/Lee
    Scola/Pat
    Hill/Miller

Let Brooks rest and get back to 100%. Ditto for Hayes. Even though Bud's offensive game has perked up lately, he will NEVER be an asset at the defensive end which is where we are hurting so badly right now.

I say just have Williams engaged in practices and let him know that his day is very near. If we know one thing about Houston it's that we ALWAYS get bit by the injury bug. He'll be getting 20 minutes a night at some point in the near future - it's just inevitable with this roster and his ability to play multiple positions.

you play......all three together first to see how they can compliment eachother then you remove the weakest link and replace him with a regular rotation guy.

    PG-Williams/Lee
    SG-Lee./Williams
    SF-Bud
    PF-Patterson
    c-Miller

Oh and Patterson is better than Hill, no debate needed....Thanks

    IT IS WRITTEN.

If you want value out of either Battier or Budinger before the deadline then we need to continue doing what we have been. Budinger has been playing well and has been increasing his value since his terrible first 15-20 games.

Battier is an expiring contract or a very good vet on a team looking for a last piece.

Both could sweeten a deal for whoever we are going after.

I am not saying T-Will should get no minutes; but, come Feb. 18th, we need to get rid of Bud, Brooks, Jefferies, and Yao's contract for something.

I keep saying it, but Kmart will be the guy that goes in any trade for a better star player.

That presupposes a better star becomes available. At this point, the most optimistic I can be on the trade front is a Ariza/Lee or Twill kind of trade. Nothing that would necessitate giving up Martin.

If Martin is going somewhere, its good news because it means were getting someone better :)

I bet 10 dollars to the tip jar that Kevin Martin will not be traded before this year's deadline.

He is a really good compliment to almost any star because he does not demand the ball, he gets the other team in foul trouble, he spaces the floor and can put up a bunch of points without getting the other players out of their rhythm.

I predict Brooks and Budinger along with some of our exp. contracts and picks will go before Martin.

Aaron Brooks. P.S. there is also No way Kmart gets traded unless it is for Wade, Bron and that will not Happen. If Melo comes here we would need Kmart more than Brooks.

I voted Brooks but honestly the two of them would be a good on court duo. TWill as a point forward. Brooks can be a shoot first PG if Will can distribute.

Finally I have a post to completely agree with you.

Bud was in a funk earlier in the season because of the ankle injury, which affected his shot and play. Brooks is suffering from the same problem. He will return to normal when he is fully healed. Shane's defense and other skills are in decline even though there was a brief remission earlier in the year.

I'm still not sure if Williams fits in best as a PG or a SF, but SG is solid with Martin and Lee. BTW, I voted Shane off the island.

Disagree. Unfortunately, we will lose Scola in a major trade.

Good court vision, passing ability and decent defense. Not-so-well shooter however as of yet. To play him now, we would need to surround him with shooters. A guard/small forward with court awareness. If he can handle it, I can see him trying out for some pg minutes lol.

If now would be the case, I choose him to replace AB.

If it were to be at a later date, I can see him replacing Battier.

Shattier :p .........He's an expiring contract and has lost a step. Better to trade him now to get something of value in return opening up a spot for TWill at the same time.

Yes, he might be the guy, or we could lose both......if the right guy was available.

    Blake Griffin for instance.

trade either kyle or aaron for a decent center

then bring court chase and twill off the bench as the 1 2 and 3. strong defensive and offensive lineup with brad in to facilitate the offense

Brooks is a restricted free agent after this season and, like it or not, he's in the rockets' long term plans. Diminishing value is a good thing. That way we can sign him for cheaper in the offseason.

He's not dreaming....just trying his best to lower his value with the "DD curse."
