he is sticking it to the Morey and Les, for not giving him a contract. Dude is just playing at half a speed. Guy took 5 shots tonight( Thats not the AB i Know) He is obviously angry with Morey, and i think the fact that Lowry got the Contract, and is now starting is bothering him, I understand he is coming of an ankle injury, but if he was not ready to go. We still have Ish to come and suit up Anybody else noticing half-assed effort he has played with since he has been back
Uh Oh. I hope that's not true. We should see If he would agree to the exact cash that Lowry got for an extension.
I noticed half-assed effort. I also noticed him giving an interview, sounding like he was half-stoned prior to the Portland game. I think he's frustrated and he's not fully healthy. He may also be a little high.
Because a severe ankle sprain has nothing to do with it, am I right? If a dude that bases his entire game off of his speed injures a body part directly responsible for his speed... come on now. Regardless it's a valid statement, but not because of the contract situation but because of the complete eclipsing of his playing time by Kyle Lowry.
Morey and Aldeman like him too much. If anything I expect Lowry to get traded. Morey and Unableman just dont appreciate defence.
Why would Lowry getting a contract get to him? Lowry's contract ended and he got a new one. Aaron's on his rookie contract. he couldn't make more money this year if Morey wanted to give him more. He will get a new contract next year. If he's worried about the money I'd think he would play harder, not less hard. It makes no sense that in a contract year he would coast because he's mad at the GM.
his body language has definitely not looked good......in the game thread i said it seems he might be trying to kill an expected trade
Guys this is a contract year for him, he is not going to be THAT stupid, Feigen said he definitely has not healed his ankle.
He went back to his Oregon where he balled in College. I think he partied it up that night. He defintiely looked out of it.
Last few nights he hasn't seem into the game mentally. He isn't healthy but he is also not giving full effort.
i believe that interview (the one with aaron on the bike) was taken in houston prior to starting the trip
Terri-bad post. 1. Your logic makes no sense. HE IS PLAYING FOR A CONTRACT. Your fantasy that he is "sticking it" to the front office is laughable. Money > a grudge. Always. 2. He hurt his foot pretty bad. This is especially relevant for a player that relies on his speed. Foot injuries, no good for AB.
If he isn't healthy then he needs to sit his ass down. We have young rookie who would be eager for that playing time..
Exactly Brooks is not healthy and should be getting more treatments on the ankle instead of going out and trying to play on it.
Part of getting healthy is the mental aspect, and trusting that it won't break down when you make a move, AB is playing scared, he has to gain that trust back in his ankle. Rick Adelman and EVERY REASONABLE person, understands that, folks that are looking to burn a Rox player at the stake do not. DD
Durv, You should know better, do you have any proof or are you just talking out of your buttocks? Because it smells like crap.... AB needs to get healthy and confident and back to attacking the basket, the only way that happens is playing time. SHEESH ! DD
