Onto the playoffs. Here is my suggestion going forward. We both PM you our picks for ALL games this coming weekend by midnight friday night. Once you get both of our picks you can post them in this thread. Once you post our picks, they are final. This prevents the person picking second to have some sort of advantage. Whoever has the better record for the 4 games this week wins, if we we tie we go on to the next week. If we get to the Superbowl we also submit total points scored in the game along with our pick as a tiebreaker. Hopefully it doesnt get to that. This is just a suggestion, this is still your baby Pun...whatever you decide should be fun.
Here is the tiebreaker I have setup. There are 4 games next week. Each participant needs to put what team they think will win and how many points they will win by. Whoever has the LOWEST score after all the games are played will be declared the winner. I have an example below of how this will work if needed: Schedule (days and times TBA) Green Bay at Philadelphia New Orleans at St. Louis/Seattle Baltimore at Kansas City New York Jets at Indianapolis ----------------------------------------- Player A selects the following Green Bay by 7 New Orleans by 10 Baltimore by 4 Indianapolis by 1 Player B selects the following Philadelphia by 3 New Orleans by 17 Baltimore by 5 Indianapolis by 7 Game scores: Green Bay 24 - Philadelphia 14 New Orleans 38 - St. Louis/Seattle 17 Baltimore 20 - Kansas City 6 New York Jets 13 - Indianapolis 20 Player A Game 1 score of 3 Game 2 score of 11 Game 3 score of 10 Game 4 score of 6 Total score of 30 Player B Game 1 score of 13 Game 2 score of 4 Game 3 score of 9 Game 4 score of 0 Total score of 26 Player B wins the title. Now for this tiebreaker, your choices must be in BEFORE the first game of the playoff weekend's scheduled kickoff time, otherwise it is a forfeit. I figure this should work out, what do you think?
I posted my suggestion above but your's is good as well. I made my complicated as so it would not get stretched to the Super Bowl but it may be overcomplicated but I thought it would work. Let's see if we can get some feedback on both methods, or if the two players left decide they want to do one or the other we can go that route.
