If we got a defensive center like Varejao do you really think that would give us a chance at a championship or even get us 2 rounds deep into the playoffs? IMO i kinda do agree with you, we do need a a good defender at the 5 spot obviously but we also need a few upgrades at other positions as well too and Varejao will never be a starting center on a championship team...after all thats what we all want at the end of the day...a championship!
FFS stop comparing him to Scola! They are absolutely nothing alike other than them both being bad defenders. Scola was never an elite rebounder like Love is. Scola has a great post game. Love gets his points on put backs and jumpers.
