    I remember a short time ago, the Rockets were playing in Dever. There was a great defensive play and the Rockets ended up with the ball. Mario "JYD" Ellie had a for sure break away dunk. Just then Jalen Rose undercuts him with no play on the ball, causing Mario to fall hard breaking his hand/wrist.
    In a preseason game the other night Rose got his due. After scoring on a dunk, Jalen came down hard and broke his wrist. I don't ever wish bad on a person, but this is to prove that what goes around will come back to you!

    I didn't hear that about Jalen. How long is he out for?
    That really, really hurts the pacers if he is out for any of the regular seasons.

    I dont think Jalen wanted to hurt Mario. Just one of those things where he made a bad decision to pursue Mario on the breakaway. I hope he is alright. I know what its like to have a messed up wrist.

    This is REALLY bad news for Houston!!

    With no Jalen for 6 weeks, the Pacers will definitely struggle.
    There's no 'Zo for the Heat for who knows how long.
    New York have an all new lineup.

    Which team is looking the best in the East now? Not Milwaukee? DAMNIT!!!

    In place of Jalen, Isaih played Bender at the point and he played well.

    Like the Rockets, Indiana have added youth and prepared for the future in a rather short time frame.

    Rose might not have intended to hurt Mario, but he certainly intended to undercut him. I remember the replay clearly. He had no play whatsoever on the dunk, and didn't even really jump, but just ran underneath Mario. It was a dirty play, Rose is a dirty player. I still am not sure if he ever apologized for that play. I know he didn't while Mario was in the hospital.

    Rose is reported to be out 4-6 weeks as reported by Thomas this morning on ESPN.

    Absolutely. Undercutting a player on a dunk is one of the dirtiest things you can do, because they're totally defenseless to do anything about it... It's one thing to get pissed cause you got beat, but to risk injury to another player is just disgusting.

    And of course, in Mario's case, it was a pretty significant injury... Funny cause as soon as I heard about Rose, I thought the same thing. Dude got what he deserves...

    jalen definitely meant to undercut elie. it wasn't like he couldn't have stopped. in fact elie was still on the rim when jalen ran FROM BEHIND elie and undercut him. dude didn't even try to catch him. he just let him fall.

    I had forgotten what Jalen Rose did to Mario but now that you remind me, I remember, and I remember believing it was intentional and Rose IS dirty when it suits him. But he is very good now and like Latrell these things are looked over.

    I too never wish an injury on someone cus it may come back and happen to me like it did to Jalen probably.
