I am going to buy those jeans because they are made in USA.

Are the polos and T-shirts made in USA as well? if so, I am definitely getting the "dream Shake" one.

Love the dream but going project runway isn't for everyone. The clothes look like stuff my 8th grade gym teacher was wearing 15 years ago.

Man, if they had a short sleeved polo and in fancy letters said Dream I would totally buy it.

I was skeptical at first, but Dream really knows how to design a shirt.

If I wasn't piss broke, I would snatch one up for sure.

What happened to his "spalding make shoes that majority of people can afford" mentality? I wouldnt expect The Dream to charge so much form his clothing, kind of disappoints me.

Well you can see the strong soccer influence in his clothing line.

Like many posters above have already mentioned, it's essentially impossible to make clothes the right way and sell them for "affordable" prices, especially if you're dealing with high-quality fabrics. Basically every "cheap" (and sometimes not-so-cheap) retailer out there employs the use of sweatshops and cheap labor in some way, shape, or form. Walmart, Hanes, Nike, Adidas, Kohls, Abercrombie, Gap, American Apparel...the list goes on and on.

If you look at prices for clothes made the right way (they usually make it a point to tell you), they are considerably higher since the people who made them actually get paid. Throw in the fact that the fabrics are high quality, and Hakeem's name is behind it; I'd say it's reasonably priced.

All valid points, which would be fine for anybody but Hakeem. Being a recovering Muslim I have been able to witness the compassion that Hakeem has first hand. He is a guy that will do anything to help someone out that is in need. Ive seen him cut a $50,000 check for a mosque parking lot when no one else would pony up even $1,000, Ive seen him over hear a conversation between two people in tough spots and casually walk over and hand the two of them checks for over a $1,000 without anyone asking him so when I saw the prices of his clothes it was something I just didnt expect from him

I did not, I just wanted to vioce my opinion or my 2 cents if you will. My opinion would not of been swayed by the dicussion because both sides of this arguement obvious ( to make clothes the right way is expensive so good for Hakeem, and the otherside is why such a high price tag Dream you where the Spalding guy that turned Nike down to make affordable shoes)

Americans are some of the best at wasting money on jeans. It's funny, they're a common run of the mill item but prestige/luxury pricing makes people want them even more.
