Iggy will not get traded unless Brand is taken off the books trust me, even if Brand and Iggy would be traded for Butler and Haywood...Dallas would have to pay like an extra $50 million or somthing if this trade would go down..I don't know if Cuban would be willing to do that..Iggy is having a bad season and would be a solid 3rd option on a real good team but he is not the answer for either the mavs or rockets

Butler injury really ruins his value especially if he is out for the season which many mavs fans are saying.. you may get something good if you include Roddy but besides him, dirk, chandler, and maybe terry your really not going to get a good player for Butler unless a team is absolutly desperate ,and poke there eyes out with a Butler swap.

Umm...?? I could not think of a more perfect place for Iggy than Dallas.

From a financial perspective, Cuban has shown that he will fork over a bunch of cash for a winning product. 50 million dollars is nothing for him.

And Iggy would be a solid 3 option behind Dirk and Kidd.

Yeah but a huge risk with 2 real bad contracts for a couple years..yeah 50 million plus the luxary tax over 100 million for 2 players  going to be crazy especailly if were headed for a lockout..one who is injury prone and the other who is one of the most overrated players in the league, well overrated on this board..sure maybe iggy will work with kidd, but I rather old man kidd still trying to run a fast break, and getting tired and burned out with iggy then Dirk one on one in the half court. shooting jump shots imo.

Yeah, the league has really had it in for the Spurs and Celtics these last few years. There's no way Dictator Stern is going to let either of those teams make it to the Finals.

I read somewhere that the Spurs have the 20th most difficult schedule. Maybe that has factored into their success.

But they convincingly have been beating favorites like the Lakers.

The whole franchise is just perfect. They never go a year without having a winning record, they draft well and develop their players well. Guys like Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili aren't lottery picks and neither are guys like Gary Neal or George Hill. It's just brilliant basketball and management. Imagine if they had kept Luis Scola.

No Tang, you should be wiser and check the stats instead of listening to the national media. As of now the Spurs have had the 9th strongest schedule in the league. Their Strenght of Schedule is .516.

Their schedule is only weaker than the Bucks, Mavs, Hornets, Wariors, Suns, Nuggets, Thunder and Portland. Teams they have all beaten.
The Spurs have played harder opponentes than the Jazz .513 and Boston .504. And have played way stronger schedules than the Heat .484 and the Lakers .449.

For example, Spurs schedule, as said, ranks as the 9th strongest in the league right now, while Boston sits at 14th, Heat sits at 24th and Lakers at 29th weakest schedule only stronger than the King's.

It seems our friends in ESPN are desperate to hype teams like the Heat and the Lakers. When the Spurs had the best record earlier, common sense in national media, was that the Spurs didn't have played strong opponents, while as of now both Heat and Lakers have played even weaker opponents and have failed to stay within 5 games of the Spurs.

Now about the "Peaking now" issue, i'll put it quite simple.
Defensively they are still improving, and defense improves very slowly.
Parker and Ginobili are not on their usual shooting averages, nor is Duncan and Jefferson has cooled off since a great start.
Their backup SF is injuried, and their backup C has 25 NBA games on his shoulders. Their sixth Man Hill has finally ended his shooting funk, he was shooting under .400 for much of the season untill his recent offensive explosion. They surely are not peaking.

I respect their game very much and i believe they are as of now the most solid candidates to win it all barring major injuries.

i saw the 2nd Q of your sperms game last nite. plain and simple, this year or next year, summer coaching or summer lazing on copacabana beach....splitter sucks.

lol well if the spurs weren't so deep and stackedddddddd then he would be playing , was this your first game you saw he is a rookie brah... Splitter has some great post moves, and excellent defender, now if he can learn to dunk and throw it down besides laying it up like a soft pu**y  then it's game over. Spurs staff works with there players like Jefferson this past summer if you didn't know. Players like Neal,Anderson and Splitter will continue to work with the Spurs until the summer to get alot better than they already are.

he's a 26 year old rookie, who sucks.

    no he does not.

    wow that's fantabulous.

i already told you during the offseason i've been watching splitter play in europe for years. maybe it will help recollect your memory when i told you (with great accuracy) that he is softer and a worse offensive player than david andersen. good luck with that brah.
