Do you buy american made products over foreign?
Does this factor into your decision or do you just buy whatever?
    maybe only on certain products?
    would you rather buy american?

    just curious.

I will not buy a crappier product because it is made in America.

If it's better, sure, why not.

Companies shouldn't have to rely on idiots buying "american made" just because they are Americans.

I support the product that provides me greater value, no matter where it comes from.

Same here. I really don't think about the 10 year old supporting his/her family on 60 cents a day making my Nikes, but I probably should.

The entire Western hemisphere was built on global trade and immigration. 300 million people cannot create wealth just doing business with themselves. Global conflict is largely fueled by economic inequality and exploitation; creating strong, equitable commercial relationships is a neccessary (but not sufficient) step towards ensuring common interests between nations. I just have a hard time arguing too vehemently in favor of exclusively buying American.

    depends on the local economy.
60 cents a day may provide decent food, shelter, and clothing
    then again it may not

without knowing . . . why feel guilty because they not living the 'American Standard'

hell . . .there are people fighting to make sure immigrants continue to live beneath the American standard
