Thanks for this! I missed the game (more's the pity) so my impressions of PatPat are from this pkg: PP looks like a cross between the emergent Carl Landry and Blair (SAS). Is that fair?

Might a successful term filling minutes for Chuck Hayes make DM the GM more willing to move Scola in a major deal?

Happy New Year, Clutch and All!

I had seen about two minutes of him playing when I said to myself, "If I'm the coach, I'm never take him out!" Besides he has a really cool name.

Something's not right about that. I'd swear they Photoshopped his face onto someone else's body.

Exactly what I was thinking. The skin tones are way off from his face to his neck/upper body.

Yea, I agree. It kind of looks like Carl Landry's body. Anybody else see this?

I saw the hair and Landry was the first to come to mind.

My guess is that the webmaster doesn't have pictures of all the inactive players in the d-league. In a time crunch, they just found an old college photo and put the head on. The chopped head seems to be from his college years, when he sported a small afro.

Here is an older pic of Patterson with his afro.

Adelman does tend to go with the experienced guy more. He had that rep in Sac-town so it might just be that PP has to wait for his opportunity. Looks like he got it.

    Carl who?

Kidding, but he looks fantastic for trade bait. He's just not big enough to play the 5 and is stuck behind Luis Scola. I'd rather see him in a package than Aaron Brooks. But PP will be good enough to be a starter in this league. Reminds me of Paul Milsap.

I was at the game, and the whole time he reminded me of Landry. Plays with a lot of energy, hustles, and gets good looks at the basket. If he could refine his game a little, learn how to shoot lights out from the free throw line like Landry did, I think this guy could do us a lot of good.

I bet a lot of posters don't know what you are making reference to. This is Leeb's opinion of Patterson, isn't it?
