Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by RedRedemption, Dec 30, 2010.

?

Where do all the minutes go?

  1. Most will go to Jordan Hill

    56.5%
  2. Most will go to Pattrick Patterson

    18.8%
  3. Most will go to Luis Scola

    1.9%
  4. Most will go to Brad Miller

    10.1%
  5. Split evenly between post players.

    12.6%
  6. We will sign a random D-League player and give minutes to him.

Make jokes all you want about Jefferies but hes a vet and could step right in and give big minutes. He cant guard the post and rebound like chuck but you can rely on him alot more than Hill and Pat to not make as many mistakes and foul. I think Hill will get the start, and Pat will get "exploratory" minutes against Toronto. One or two mistakes and here comes JJ.

I don't like JJ, but I think his best match up at C is Bargnani. If he can't play get playtime guarding Bargs, who is more of a 7 ft SF like Jeffries, then he will never get playtime against the low post players.

I think we will see more of Shane Battier at the 4 and a lot of small lineups.

That's what I m thinking. Raptors is a small team so Adelman will go small for the matchups. Knowing Rick, he won't play PP and hopefully we will see some Terence Williams.

i vote a pretty even split between players for the first few games. after that, whoever shines brightest and/or serves as trade bait will get most of the PT.

Def think one way or another time shoudl be found for T.Williams to touch the court. But I also believe our young rookie is ready for the demands placed on him w/ chuck being hurt. P.Patterson will do well! I am eager to see him get his chance and go up against some true NBA guys, reminds me of a A.Horford...i think the kid is ready to play!

Jared Jeffries, he could really match up well, considering the schedule the Rockets have this Jan.

Chuck is going to be missed, he may not score much but the 6'6 PF is a game changer on the defensive end, that set us up for scoring opportunities.

He did manage to help us win some games though....i do agree with others that JJ should be given a chance if Hill is continually making mistakes.

I like Jeffries's defense, but I'm glad Patterson's getting the minutes instead of Jeffries. PPat looks ready to take on a role for this team.

How could he be a disappointment, when we know what he brings to the table for the last decade? He's an offensive minded center- the guys shoots 3's for us for God's sake, and when he's on the floor the freaking pg's defer to him for making plays...
