It looked clear that it left his hands in time to me watching the slowed down replay of it. Curzyy finish, wish the Roxs had one of these (besides T-Macs barrage)
the good thing is tyreke finally puts together 2 consecutive good games. hopefully his injury is behind him b/c he's been terrible this year. cousins did have a great game. hopefully he can keep it up.
Lol. On the second video skip to around the 19 second mark. A reporter attempts to rush onto the court thinking the game was over... hahaha.
wow not as good as Devin Harris' heave from two seasons ago but still very impressive after adding in the jumper mayo made (though it looked like he traveled on that one) probably will be the play of the year hard to picture anything topping that
Reminds of Fisher's 0.02 shot after Duncan's clutch three during their playoff battle. I think lost in all this was Mayo's one foot step-back jumper with a defender in his face to normally clinch the game. IMHO that's even more impressive than Evans' 100% based on luck shot. I'd be open to trading T-will, Chase and PP for Mayo and Thabeet.
So much win in that video. It would be cool if someone on the Rockets did that. My guess is it would be Brooks, Lowry, Lee, or Budinger in that order. The best two minutes of basketball this season came from a Grizzlies vs. Kings game.
Definitely looked like Mayo traveled on his shot. Either way, what a finish! Good for Tyreke, he needed that big shot, especially with everything he has gone through this season.
Kings have a bright future with cousins and tyreke, and assuming they'll have the #1 pick to add another future star.
NBA players travel all the time. If anything that should make Mayo even more attractive, since apparently he has a large enough name to get the "traveling pass" from the refs.
Can anybody find a post game interview with Donte Greene? I'd love to hear his response to being asked how he knew the shot was good. He was on the court going nuts way before that shot went down.
Reminds me of this <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-McSwCxU9q0?fs=1&hl=en_GB"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-McSwCxU9q0?fs=1&hl=en_GB" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Kings franchise and Tyreke definitely needed a jolt like that. Today and tomorrow it'll be the same dissension and differences within the franchise, but they can at least celebrate as a TEAM for one day. Some report Tyreke's foot condition and option for surgery is as much about the discord behind the scenes than the actual state of the injury. But they're probably trying to make a bigger story like its all the young guys are running the asylum in Sacramento over Westphal. Season ending surgery on yourself is something strange to embellish... Spoiler
No. It was Mayo. I just watched it 3 more times. What's weird is Mayo saw Reke coming right at him didn't protect the ball. Donte Green didn't step on to the court until the clock was at zero. The sideline reporter after Mayo's basket made me laugh. That was seriously funny. Didn't notice when watching the game.
