When he is making his jumpers hi is unstoppable. Wade don't usually make tough jump shots, he is more of tough acrobatic in the paint. But he was making some crazy turnaround off the glass jump shoots. He was on fire and as usual you couldn't get to close or is a foul.

When a players is on like that, the only way to stop him is to double, but with Lebron, Bosh in there is hard.

    lol typical cry babies

anyway, this loss is no big deal. miami is better than us..... horrible defense though, but i guess that is to be expected against a team with 3 stars. still, you would think we could make just a little difficult for wade. 45 points on 24 shots ? that was an easy ass 45 let me tell ya. he was just waltzing right through the defense like they were traffic cones.

Exactly. "K-mart" went from being second best FT% in the league to choking at the charity stripe.

Houston had more rebounds, bench points, and points in the paint along with way fewer turnovers. They also made more three pointers at a better percentage and scored only two fewer free throws.

But Miami shot 58%. Their starters played big minutes and just worked over the Rockets defense in the half court. They also held the Rockets to 42% shooting. Miami is good. Gotta get some of that elite talent to contend. At least the Rockets ain't boring!

yeah..plus the bigs did a poor job at meeting him at the rim. Instead they met him 6 feet from the rim and he's going to go around them every time, which means he's getting a good look at the rim AND fouled. Three point play.

They played horrible on defense. That said? So did Miami. If we had say???? 1 less flagrant and then one less phantom three point play for the Heat? Everyone would be saying Heat played bad defense all night.

We are not talking about the overall fouls but the phantoms calls on Wade.

Martin was wayyyy up close to Wade on the perimeter when he should have taken a couple steps back to guard the drive and give Wade the jumper. Bad D on his part there.

3 things: Lee's missed alley and fastbreak layup, bogus flagrant foul on AB, 4 misses by Martin at the FT line. Those cost us the game aside from our poor overall D.

Good game nonetheless. They competed and this game will help them improve as we continue on with the season.

This loss feels like some of the losses earlier in the season.

-Great game up to the 4th quarter's last minutes
-Horrible execution and missed shots down the stretch
-Lack of defense on the other end down the stretch
-Posters on CF Post-Game thread whining about refs (although they should have reviewed the "flagrant" (yeah right ) foul when they sure could have)

But you've got to move on; we didn't make the Heat give up the cooch, so we have to do that to the Raptors on Friday with a FORCE!

Wade was getting the only layups, and some of them were layups where he changed his shot in mid-air and finished....thats what he does...thats what he's been doing coming into the NBA, that's pretty much his biggest strength.

That's the difference, the Rockets don't have a player like that. A guy that consistently hits tough shots, just because a guy hits tough shots does not mean playing terrible defense.

Rockets played good enough defense to stay in the game, that is better than the Lakers or previous team that have played the Heat recently. Those teams were blown out going into the 4th.

I didn't agree with the call either, especially since Bavetta changed it without even looking at the replay, according to Houston broadcasters.

But more important to the game was the way the Rockets seemed to deflate after that call and play rather sloppily for several costly minutes while a revitalized Miami went on the attack. Can't blame the refs for the way Houston responded.

Miami gets the calls because they have guys who attack the basket. You do that and you will get the calls. That's how they beat Dallas in 2006. This year, with Chandler and Haywood down low attacking the basket, the Mavs were able to sweep the series with Miami. You are right about the donut part but that's a hole that I expect will be there for years to come.

We had to stop one of the big three and we didn't do it.

Lost by 6 points only, at least it wasn't a blowout.

Miami is sizzling this past games. It was obvious that Wade was going to have a very good game seeing the fact that our best defenders was locked onto Bosh and LeBron. Solid loss in my part.

Now we have a new phenomenon on Clutchfans. Refs homers. They protect the ref like their hoemteams. What they call whining is not what they are doing right back? LOL!

Just an observation. No whining. One flagrant and one phantom 3 point play and we win the game perhaps. No whining in that observation.
