"Rockets are a bit overrated" lol... by who? clutchfans? we're .500, are GREAT at home for our record, and won what... 11 of our last 13? Whether or not Houston will win, the Rockets believe they most certainly can win, and are on their homecourt, and it is a b2b for Miami. The Rockets cant really ask for a better chance. GO ROCKETS!!!
i'm hoping hill has a monster game and posterizes bosh rockets 97 heat 96 after barely survivng a brutal 4th qrtr
We gettin slaughtered tonight, Bron and Wade will eat our weak defenders. KMart vs. DWade could be frustrating, too. Prepare for a blowout.
I'm more terrified of the Mavs than the freaking heat. The rockets will get their points. They just have to get defensive stops when it matters. The crowd will provide energy for battier. Return of the Battpalm as he knocks out wade out of the game like he did 2 years ago.
Man, if we, take that back, when we win this game, it will go along way in getting our guys confidence up that we can hang with the big boys. We should take care of Toronto on Friday and set ourselves up for a 7 game winning streak!
Love the optimism,,,,but let's take one game a time. Really tough one tonight. First real test against an elite team since waking up from sucking. If Rox can win tonight, it definitely could help catapult this team to the next level.
http://blog.oregonlive.com/nba/2010/12/nba_high-5_113.html How can this guy get his facts so off chuck hayes is our starter at 6"5 NBA High-5: Two bad knees don't keep DeJuan Blair from leading Spurs to big win over Lakers Published: Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 1:28 PM Updated: Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 1:39 PM Mike Tokito, The Oregonian By Mike Tokito, The Oregonian 1. What's right: San Antonio, already with the NBA's best record, got a big win last night, deftly dispatching the defending champion Lakers 97-82. The Spurs did not back down from the Lakers, with guard George Hill at one point getting in Kobe Bryant's face after an elbow. "We wanted to make sure they knew we could play physical, too," Spurs point guard Tony Parker said. "They wanted to come here and make a statement. We wanted to make sure we matched that energy." San Antonio got a big spark from DeJaun Blair, who had 17 points and 15 rebounds against the Lakers' much bigger front line. Blair, at 6-8, is the league's shortest starting center (well, unless you want to count the Blazers' Dante Cunningham), but that's mostly because the Spurs always list Tim Duncan as a forward (my theory on that: to protect his opportunity to be called the best power forward in history even though he often ends up guarding the opposing team's center). Blair provided terrific energy and hustle last night. But, as the Express-News' Buck Harvey writes, there remain questions about Blair's ability to sustain such play and to bring it during the playoffs. Blair himself acknowledges this. “I’m proud of what I did tonight,” he said, “but I want to be consistent.” Blair is a terrific story -- a second-round draft pick who dropped that low despite an outstanding career at Pittsburgh because of concerns about his long-term viability as he has no ACLs in either knee. We should note here -- because many people make the comparison -- that this is different from the Blazers' Brandon Roy, who has no meniscus in either knee and is still adjusting. Blair has played with no ACLs since high school. rest of story in link above
Im very confident with Hayes on Bosh but im not gonna rule out James's dominance because we have Battier on him. I wouldnt be surprised if James easily drops 35+ Now the next question, who the hell is going to take care of D Wade and actually keep up? Lee might see more time tonight
Bosh, Wade, Lebron combine for 80. Chalmers and Jones somehow end up with 40 between the two of them. Rockets are speechless, stunned, and demoralized. Loss.
Bring it Miami... we ain't scurred!!! We've been waiting a long time for this day. Lets do this!!! Rockets hang in there and pull out a WIN.
This will give the Rox a chance to show Melo got a real squad to compete hopefully he has league pass though lol
