Really really hope its a deal that will get another center. As much as we all love Hayes and Miller. Those 2 will not be sufficient in the playoffs. As both Granger and Hibbert are playing so badly recently hopefully DM will be getting his hands on both or at least 1 of them.
I haven't read all 20something pages in this thread yet, but in case it hasn't been posted in here yet, my insider sources tell me that our trading partner for Yao will be the Grizzlies yet again. The proposed trade will be Marc Gasol, OJ Mayo and Xavier Henry plus cash considerations for Yao and Patterson. I don't know how or if that works out, I'm just giving it to you like it was given to me. You can believe it or not, as time will soon show how much truth is to it. Have fun discussing.

Im not a trade expert and don't know how that will or won't work out....what I do know is that my source is a person great resource and insider knowledge. Maybe the cash considerations are huge....let's just wait and see.

My question is that if we do this, would that mean that we are doing another trade also since we would then be overloaded at the SG position? And if so, what might that trade be!

But until I see something happen with my own eyes, I will stand by the assertion I have always made: as long as Yao wears an NBA uniform, that uniform with be a Houston Rockets uniform. Even if he never plays agian, I could see him signing a Nolan-Ryan-esque personal-services contract with the Rockets. I just don't see Les handing that to another team, for a bunch of cereal filler and bubble-wrap.
Full of ****, bro. Just off of the top of my head, I don't think we can work a deal with Memphis unless Gay or Randolph are coming back, and that's assuming Memphis doesn't part with 5-pieces. Now if they do, that's another story. I wouldn't be surprised to see Memphis part ways with Randolph since the lack of an extension talk. But would he come to Houston? Don't think we want him.
This trade would be highway robbery. However, ever since Memphis gave away Pau Gasol for nothing, I have believed that they have a management that is willing to do any bizarre trade for money. Get it done, Morey.
Yeah, I would think so too, and Rudy would make more sense at the 3 for our team unless another trade was in the works. But again, I'm just giving it to you like I got it. It's not a trade proposal from me, just info that I got.
