Durvasa get off the Battier defense already. I specifically stated Williams for Budinger. Its ok to calm down over everything Battier while he is producing finally. Not enough to say he is the future at that spot though. We could use a better player there or Center. Thats just always my stance and frankly we are just 500 which proves it even further.
agree completely. and even with as disenchanted as i am with budinger, he spaces the floor well, tries hard on defense and can occasionally light it up. I am all for adelman making twill earn his minutes by outplaying budinger in practice.
It's getting so bad that I wish my status on the website was no longer, "TheGoldenGreek is Chase Budinger, showing a lot of promise but still young."
I have a hard time seeing how Terrence Williams could play any worse. Chase has earned his way to the bench. Lets see the new guy play some minutes.
I think Bud will eventually find his mojo, but he needs to look for it from the bench. Play Terrence Williams and make Bud hungry to play again. Last year Bud most of his shots looked good even when he missed. He is definitely thinking too much out there and not relying on his reflexes,muscle memory when he shoots.
Bud's play hurts the team. I don't care if he knows what the system is. That does not change the fact that he is building mansions on one end of the court and doing his best ghost impression on the other end. T-Will may not have played his way on to the court yet, but Bud has definitely played his way off it. And this excuses all his other stupid plays? One good play does not excuse his entire season of horrible play.
And that may be part of the problem..... Either way, I think the only way Chase breaks out of it, is if/when Kyle moves back to the 2nd team....Chase needs a guy who can get out and run and get him some easy buckets. If he doesn't have that, I think Twill will get his shot, and might be a better option in the end.... Whatever is best for the Rockets..... DD
