I've been somewhat skeptical about Boki. Last night Nachbar only got 6 minutes with no shots, though he was consistently wide open as Steve and others took it one on one. It would have been nice to see him shoot a wide open jumper or two to see if he can hit them in a game situation. However, one thing was obvious; he is not a Langhi. He seemed to know where to be on the court. He looked good on a rebound or two and though perhaps not stellar on defense, perhaps a tad slow for the sf spot defensively, he was where he was supposed to be. Does anyone remember Langhi awkwardly running around looking like a chicken with his head cut off trying to find a man or somewhere he could be useful on the court. Of course occasionally Langhi did look good on a jump shot
One thing you will all see that I saw him do at BT is rebound. He goes strong to the boards and due to that fact alone he is in no way like langhi. He is a little timid right now and rudy knows it. He will relax, they will bring him along slowly like Griffin because they can with plenty of forwards on the roster.
What is up with people saying Francis played selfish one-on-one ball when the guy had 10 assist, all because he didn't set up Nachbar? Nachbar only played 6 minutes. I mean Francis had 10 assist but played one-on-one ball? The team as a whole didn't play one-one-one ball, a BUNCH of people scored with good ball movement, Francis, Mobley, T-Mo, Cato, Griffin, KT, etc. I mean how consistently open can you be in 6 minutes of action?
Now that is a dedicated Franchise backer! I like your spunk and I love our Stevie but I don't think he was trying to say that Steve was selfish as much as he was that Nachbar was hitting his spots. He looked like he knew what to do. That's all. If he was knocking Steve then he needs to get glynched!
RocksMillenium, That's what I was wondering...glynch said that Steve took it one-on-one all the time. Did he really do that? Or was he setting up his team mates. I really wont believe it until I see it...but Rudy using a non-ISO offense would just be hard to imagine. Once glynch said that Steve was doing one-on-one's I thought, "Here we go again..."
I think the Timing is Off! - let me guess - not the first time you've heard that one And never underestimate the stimulation of electricity.
We have'nt seen anything yet! But, I guess timing is everything, Besides franchise was not be able to ditch the ball to Boki a couple of times, but he'll get his chance!
